Roman's POV

As soon as I finished preparing, I made my way downstairs, where the Elders were waiting for me. The moment I stepped into the room, all conversation halted. Their matching ceremonial robes made them look like a flock of proud peacocks, but what stood out most was the shock on their faces when they saw me.

Dominic and Alberto, in particular, couldn't seem to keep their gazes on me, their discomfort evident. I raised an eyebrow at their reaction, my patience already running thin.

"What's the matter?" I asked, unable to suppress my curiosity.

One of the elders, an older man with graying hair and sharp eyes, cleared his throat and stepped forward. "I know you're unfamiliar with our customs, but this is your coronation ceremony. You shouldn't be dressed like... that."

I frowned. "I shouldn't be dressed like what?"
