Roman's POV

As soon as the registrar finished speaking, Dominic stepped forward, his stance exuding authority as he turned to face the crowd. His movements were deliberate, and calculated. I had known him long enough to recognize the gleam in his eyes—the look of a man who had come prepared to see me fall.

Seated at the head of the courtroom, Alberto, one of the eldest and most respected Elders in the Crescent Moon Pack, observed the proceedings with a stoic expression. He was to serve as the judge in this mockery of a trial.

The moment Dominic began to speak, the room fell into silence.

"Good morning to everyone present," he addressed the audience, his voice carrying the weight of authority. He took his time, his gaze sweeping across the sea of pack members gathered before him.
