Aaron was able to catch the train early in the morning. He slept early the previous night. So, he was able to catch the train on time.

If he had missed the train, he would have had to wait a week for the train to the Dusk City.

The city he stayed in was a small city. The only reason it has a train station is that it was in the path of the train to Dusk City.

The train that he boarded was the only train available. If one misses this train, they have to wait till the train returns from Dusk City to its origin station, before it passes the city on its way to Dusk City.

It is a weekly train. Though it appears twice, that would be in a different direction each time.
