"Now that we are alone, let's see what you are interested in", Jay said as he took out a booklet and placed it in front of Aaron.

Aaron didn't understand why Jay placed a booklet in front of him.

Seeing the confused look, Jay explained, "This booklet has the list of all items that I am trying to sell".

"Oh, so this has the names of the items you have from which I can choose, huh. It is a great idea, not showing the item, but still letting others know that you can sell that, which makes it difficult for anyone who was trying to steal and run away, which would be possible if they are placed in the open", Aaron nodded in understanding.

It also saves him the space, especially because Jay was kind of a guy who wouldn't open a shop in a place to sell them. He was more like a travelling merchant than a shopkeeper who would open a stall somewhere to sell their items.
