Kaito sat in his study, deep in thought. Nova, his ever-reliable AI assistant, hovered beside him in holographic form. The problem at hand was one he had never faced before: love.
"Nova, if three girls like me, what should I do?" Kaito asked hesitantly.
Nova's digital eyes flickered for a moment before responding, "I am not programmed to answer this type of question."
Before Kaito could sigh in frustration, a notification appeared before him. [You have received a summons from the Goddess of Love.] Intrigued, Kaito decided to meet her.
In the blink of an eye, he found himself in a vast, white empty space. In front of him sat a woman who appeared no older than 20-25, with long, flowing pink hair and radiant golden eyes. She smiled and gestured for him to sit.
"I've been watching you, Kaito," she said with a knowing gaze. "It seems you need some love advice."
Kaito nodded, feeling slightly awkward.
"Althea, Amelia, and Lilia truly love you," she stated. "If they didn't, I wouldn't have allowed them to be around you right now."
Kaito tilted his head. "Why do you care so much about me?"
The Love Goddess let out a soft chuckle. "It's not about kindness. Love is a powerful force, Kaito. If someone tries to use you in the name of love, it could disrupt the balance of this world—maybe even end it. There are those who might exploit you."
She then waved her hand towards Nova, and instantly, new program files were added to the AI system.
"These are some of my divine authorities as the Goddess of Love," she explained. "With them, you can identify those who have ill intentions toward you. You may also upgrade them as you see fit."
Kaito nodded in understanding, grateful for the unexpected boon.
The goddess then changed the topic with a mischievous smile. "Kaito, your world has so many forms of entertainment and food, doesn't it?"
"Yes, it does," Kaito replied.
"Then repay me by sending me some movies," she said playfully. "Oh, and one more thing. Your nation should follow the structures and traditions of this world. Avoid using knowledge from your past world—it could cause unnecessary chaos. Try to understand."
Kaito nodded once more. With that, their meeting ended, and he returned to his palace, where the three girls awaited his decision.
The moment he stepped into the room, anticipation filled the air.
"I will not get married," Kaito declared.
The girls gasped in shock, their eyes widening. Before they could protest, he quickly added, "I'm not saying I won't marry you. I will—but not now. We will wait a few years."
Their initial panic faded, replaced by reluctant agreement. Kaito could see the disappointment in their eyes, but they accepted his decision.
Afterward, he returned to his room, eager to explore the new program files gifted by the Goddess of Love. He made a few modifications and established a telepathic link between himself and Nova. With his improved AI, he issued his next command.
"Nova, adjust the infrastructure of our country to match this world's standards. Also, keep an eye on the surrounding nations. Monitor their plans and movements."
"Understood, Kaito," Nova responded.
With that, Kaito took a deep breath. He had resolved one issue, but many more awaited him on his path. For now, though, he had taken another step forward.
