Chapter 7

The week flew by, and today was the day for announcing commendations and rankings.

Miller arrived early. As soon as he saw me, he couldn't hide his excitement.

"Harmony, guess what? If all goes well today, I'll be the Dean!"

"Is that so? Congratulations then, Dean Stratton." Hearing my words, he looked even more pleased.

He glanced at me with delight. "That's the spirit. Just don't say anything crazy during the family speech today, or I might have to start having tea at your dad's house every day."

He was threatening me. I gave a bitter smile. "I won't. Don't worry."

He stared at me for a moment, asking if I'd been taking my medication on schedule. I showed him the bottle with barely any pills left, which put him completely at ease.

The lights were blinding, glasses clinked, and people of all sorts mingled, waiting for the selection meeting to begin.

This hospital was originally established by Ms. Myerson.

Now it seemed it would be ruined by her daughter and apprentice.
