Did we miss something....?[No Pera-3]

Our plan is pretty much set. We're going to Matita! Like, it's final—but as they say, "Friends' plans never succeed on the first try." 😎

First Pera

The trouble started early on the picnic day.

Me: Hey, Tanid, are you ready?

Tanid: Yeah, bro, all ready. But did you call Virgil?

Me: I called him, but he's not picking up.

Tanid: Dude, there's only one reason he wouldn't pick up…

Me: Why?

Tanid: His mom sent him to do the groceries yesterday… He's probably not back yet! 😆

Virgil is the most pera-prone person in our group, and he's the reason for 90% of our delays. We had no choice but to go to his house. And guess what? The guy was still asleep. 🤦‍♂️

Justin: "Only an earthquake could wake him up!"

Tanid: "Nah, bro, one call from his mom is enough." 😆

We smartly informed his mom. Within 30 seconds, Virgil was fully ready! 😂

Meanwhile, everyone else was more or less on time. So, after a short while, we set off.

Second Pera

As soon as we got on the bus, Justin started blabbering.

Justin: "Dude, you know? If we were on a SpaceX rocket, we'd go straight to the moon."

Tanid: "Bro, if you want to go to the moon, why are you dragging us along?" 😑

Me: "Chill, let's play Antik Mahmud's No Pera Anthem and wait it out!"

The bus speakers blasted the song—"Life is Pera-free!" 🎶

While listening to the song, suddenly, we saw a huge traffic jam ahead. 😑

Virgil: "That's it! No picnic for us today."

Tanid: "Dude, don't be so negative. It's like you think we're destined for a 'Hatita[waking]' instead of Matita." 😂

Anyway, after 30 minutes, the traffic cleared, and our trip was back on track!

Huge Mistake

After reaching Matita, we freshened up and made our plan—to stroll along the riverside first and then do some adventure activities.

Me: "So, is everyone ready?"

Justin: "Absolutely! But where's the food we brought?"

And then the real shock hit us. No one had checked the bags. All the food we brought was left on the bus! 😱

Everyone screamed together—"What! No food? 😭"

Virgil: "Now what?"

Tanid: "No para! There are a few food stalls nearby. We'll buy from there."

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

New Pera

Everything was sorted, and everyone was in a fresh mood. We roamed around, laughed, and had a great time. It felt like this picnic would become an amazing memory.

Just then, our squad member Ayan called—

Ayan: "Hey guys, I'm at the bus stand. Where are you?"

Me: "Bro, we're already at Matita…"

Ayan: "WHAT! You guys left me behind! 😡"
