Chapter 33: Mental Magic? Try Facing My Tsukuyomi!

Nitta Haruto gritted his teeth, clutching his stomach in pain, yet his eyes were still filled with rage.

"You… I'll make you regret this!" he spat.

Ryuu merely smirked.

He didn't even consider Haruto a threat.

Then, his aura surged, and a red, distorted sigil appeared on his forehead—similar to a Command Spell from the Fate world.

"Let me introduce myself again, Hero." Ryuu's crimson Mangekyō Sharingan gleamed.

"I am Ryuu, The King Of Demons."

"What?!"

Haruto's entire party froze.

The revelation shattered their reality.

Meanwhile, the Goddess simply watched, amusement dancing in her eyes.

Sayuri stood in silence, her head lowered, concealing her expression.

"Well then," Ryuu said, stretching his arms lazily.

"Since the truth is out, there's no need to hold back anymore."

"You bastard…!"

Before Haruto could act, Ellie stepped forward.

The last time they fought, Ryuu had humiliated her.

Her pride still burned from that defeat.

This time, she would have her revenge.

She slammed her staff into the ground.

A massive magic circle expanded, trapping everyone—including Ryuu—inside.

"Welcome to my domain," Ellie sneered. "You won't leave alive."

Ryuu snorted.

"You?" His eyes glowed mockingly. "Even Haruto couldn't beat me. What makes you think you stand a chance?"

Ellie's expression twisted with rage.

"Enough talk!" she snapped. "Bloom, Bind of the Vines!"

The ground trembled.

Enormous thorned vines erupted, lunging at Ryuu.

Yet—

FWOOOM!

A burst of black flames ignited from Ryuu's body.

Amaterasu.

The flames devoured the vines instantly.

The fire even began spreading toward Ellie.

"Ellie, dodge!" Kowa yanked her away just in time.

Had he reacted a second later, she would have been burned alive.

"Damn it!" Haruto growled. "Ellie, support me!"

Ellie nodded and slammed her staff into the ground again.

A golden aura surrounded Kowa's body.

A savage roar erupted from his throat as he transformed—

Half-orc form.

His muscles bulged.

His claws and fangs sharpened.

His speed and power skyrocketed.

"Two-on-one?" Ryuu scoffed.

"You think I don't have backup?"

SNAP.

With a flick of his fingers, several high-tier magic missiles shot out.

Kowa dodged, weaving through the barrage—

But one hit his shoulder.

Even with his enhanced orc durability, he staggered.

If he had been fully human, the attack would have blown him to pieces.

Then—

A group of figures emerged from the trees.

Their eyes glowed red, marked with Geass sigils.

The Elven Elders.

They had completely fallen under Ryuu's control.

"Elves?!"

Haruto's party was stunned.

"Why the hell are the Elves helping the Demon King?!"

"This—this doesn't make sense!"

Even Haruto himself looked shaken.

Then, a calm voice answered them.

"From this moment on," a tall, regal woman stepped forward.

"The Forest Elves have pledged allegiance to Lord Ryuu."

It was Galadriel.

Haruto's blood ran cold.

His allies—the very people he had sought aid from—had betrayed him.

Ryuu smirked, casually running his fingers through Galadriel's hair.

"Satisfied with the answer, Hero?"

Haruto trembled with rage.

"Damn you!" he roared.

"You must've done something to them! The Elves would never betray us willingly!"

"Bingo," Ryuu chuckled.

He snapped his fingers again.

Instantly—

The Elven Elders attacked.

Nine different high-tier spells erupted at once.

Fire. Ice. Lightning. Earth.

A magical onslaught.

Sayuri hurriedly erected a protective barrier.

But Haruto knew—

She couldn't hold out forever.

If they wanted to win—

They had to take down Ryuu.

"Ellie!" Haruto yelled.

Ellie understood immediately.

She quietly slipped back, preparing her specialty.

Mental magic.

Since Ryuu was a close-range fighter, his mind was likely his weakest point.

If she could trap him in an illusion, they'd have a chance.

She locked eyes with Ryuu.

Then—

She chanted the spell.

"Fall into slumber, Bewitching Dream!"

Her magic activated.

But—

At that moment—

Ryuu's Mangekyō Sharingan spun.

"Fool."

Ellie's heart stopped.

The world around her shattered.

She was no longer in the Elven Forest.

Instead—

A blood-red moon loomed overhead.

The sky was dark.

The air was suffocating.

"Where… am I?"

She stepped forward.

Suddenly—

CHINK.

Metal restraints locked her arms.

Her body was bound to a cross.

A cold voice whispered in her ear.

"Welcome to My World, Tsukuyomi."

Ellie froze in terror.

Her own illusion—had backfired.

She had fallen into his world.

A long, jagged blade materialized in Ryuu's hand.

With no hesitation, he drove it into her stomach.

"AAAHHH!"

Ellie screamed.

But—there was no blood.

No wound.

Yet—the pain was real.

"H-How…?"

"In this world," Ryuu's voice was calm and emotionless.

"I control everything."

"Space. Time. Reality."

"For the next 72 hours, you will experience endless pain."

"Over. And over. Again."

Ellie's face paled.

"N-No way… T-That's impossible!"

Ryuu's blade stabbed into her again.

And again.

And again.

"AAAAHHH!"

"71 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds remaining," Ryuu said coldly.

"How long will you last, Ellie?"

---

Outside – Haruto's POV

"Ellie!"

Haruto called out—but she wasn't responding.

She stood there, completely still.

Her face was twisted in agony.

But there was no wound.

Haruto's eyes widened.

was this—

Some sort of illusion?!

"What… what is he doing to her?!"

Ryuu smirked.

His Sharingan glowed menacingly...
