The right places

He knew that Daisy had feelings for someone else. When she undressed earlier to prove her innocence, it was because she was pushed to her limit. If he really wanted to sleep with her, with her gentle personality, she probably wouldn't refuse him. But it would only be fulfilling their marital duties, nothing more.

As for whether the man in her heart was Joseph, he didn't care.

He came to the Wilson Family just to find his abducted sister. His marriage to Daisy was arranged by Gavin, who wanted to use a woman to win himover.

Steven also needed an identity to stay in the mansion with his sister, so he agreed to the marriage.

He wouldn't stay in the Wilson Family for long. At most, he would take his sister back to Youth City in three months. So he wouldn't touch Daisy. When he left, he would divorce her and give her some money as compensation.

Just as Steven was about to lie down, he saw several freshly washed clothes hanging by the window. They were theclothes he had just taken off.

He usually threw away his clothes when they got dirty, but now they were washed clean and even had the fresh scent of lemon grass laundry detergent. The bloodstains on his shirt were also washed away, making it shine white.

Did she wash them?

Steven turned his head and saw that Daisy's fingers were swollen and her skin was chafed. He was surprised. He thought she was a pampered little lady, but he didn't expect her to knowhow to do laundry.

Not bad, it's quite clean.

Steven took a glance and saw Daisy curled up on the ground, lips turning white from the cold. He furrowed his brows, turned around, and picked her up, gently placing her on the bed.

She was light and soft, like a feather in his arms.

Daisy was still asleep, dressed in a cotton nightgown that had ridden up, revealing her slender legs.

Steven was about to lie down next to her and go to sleep when he glanced over and pulled her skirt down for her.

He didn't want to take advantage of her.

But just then, Daisy kicked out and unexpectedly hit him below the belt.

Steven let out a muffled groan, his cold and handsome face contorting. He raised his head, glaring fiercely at her with a terrifying look in his eyes.

She really knows how to kick in the right place!

Daisy didn't notice his cold gaze at all.She kicked off the covers with her other leg, casually draped it over Steven's waist, rubbed against him, and then comfortably smacked her lips.

Her legs were sore from squatting to do laundry, and now she had found a cushion to rest them on. Finally, she could sleep comfortably...

Steven stared at the slender leg draped over his waist, his face darkening as he remained silent for a while.

After a moment, he pulled the covers over himself and turned his back to Daisy to go to sleep.

She should be sleeping on the floor. If Daisy touches him again tonight, he'll throw her out into the wilderness to feed the wolves!
