prologue

In a dim light, we see a 15-year-old boy sitting on his chair with a horrified face. In front of him, a video is playing on the computer screen. In this video, he can see the most important people in his life having sex with the transfer student, While calling him names and calling him weak, useless, pathetic and the most disgusting words a human can say. Who are these people? They are none other than the family and friends of Hiroki Mori: his mother, sister, aunt, cousin, girlfriend, best friend and teacher. They are wearing wigs to hide their identity but if we try to concentrate a little more we can see their faces. Hiroki is in complete shock. He stands up from his chair and moves backwards without turning his back to the computer. He wants to turn back but he can't, he wants to close his eyes but he can't. His mind forced him to watch not letting him turn away or close his eyes. Tears start to flow from his eyes but he can't close his eyes, his body is trembling and telling him to run away but he can't move an inch. His breathing becomes ragged and his body starts to suffocate because of the lack of air and his mind is in full chaos.

After a while when the video ends, Hiroki gets released from the chains that his mind made but instantly falls to the ground. The sounds of their insults and moans of pleasure still echo in his mind. In a desperate attempt to stop that sound. He starts to hit his head on the ground repeatedly until blood comes out from his forehead. He begins to cry screaming in a loud voice. His throat hurt but he didn't stop and cried more and more while blood spilt like water from his forehead. He is feeling many emotions at the same time like:- anger, sadness, despair, disgust, betrayal and many more. Then he stands up while crying and runs towards the main door of his house. He didn't know what to do, he was trying to run away from there to escape this suffering but when he reached the stairs his leg slipped and fell from the stairs while hitting his head a few times on the steps. Blood started to fall from his head, his body began to lose its strength and his conciseness started to fade.

" I am weak." Hiroki became unconscious.

After a Week

In a hospital room,

A 15-year-old blond-haired boy is starting to wake up, but something is different in him. His blue eyes are clear like the sky, but it feels like there is nothing in him—like a sky with no clouds. When the nurse sees Hiroki waking up, she immediately starts to reach him because she knows when Hiroki is brought here when he is unconscious. So, he might get terrified of waking up in an unknown location.

"Calm down, calm down boy, I am a nurse-"

She is cut off by Hiroki in the middle of the introduction.

"Oh I see, I fell from the stairs and my family brought me here while I was unconscious."

She was surprised and confused by Hiroki. She has seen many patients of the same age as Hiroki in her career who were brought here while unconscious and every patient who woke here was confused and terrified. Still, Hiroki is the only one who is calm even after waking up in an unknown location and the strangest thing is that there is no expression on Hiroki's face. His head has a big injury on it and he wakes up after one week but his face not even showing that he is feeling pain or feeling dizzy.

"Ms Risa," Hiroki said while looking at the nurse.

"How did you know my name?"She asked while moving backwards, feeling scared.

"It's written on your badge."

When she realised her dumbness her cheeks started to turn red by embarrassment. She bows her head.

" I... am sorry. Please wait here. I will call the doctor." After saying that, Risa turns towards the room's door and leaves quickly.

Risa pov

'It's strange very strange someone who just woke up in an unknown place. How can he be so calm? I need to tell Sensei about this.'

After walking for a minute I finally found Sensei in the corridor drinking his coffee.

" Sensei, Patient Hiroki Mori regained his consciousness." After listening to that Satoshi Sensei was surprised.

" That's good, He takes quite a time to wake up. The wound in his head is not so deep but I don't understand what keeps him not to wake up. Even in the tests, there is nothing wrong."

" But Sensei there is something strange about Hiroki Mori. I don't know but just looking into him gives me a strange feeling."

"I don't know what you are talking about, but if you are talking about his family, I also find something strange about them." First this boy, and now his family, too.

"You know, when they came here with that boy, there wasn't a hint of concern on their faces. Looking at their expressions, it was clear that they only wanted to drop him off and leave. After I completed Hiroki's treatment and returned, they were gone, having left without inquiring about his condition. A nurse later informed me about what had happened: a call had come through on his mother's phone, and after receiving the call, the mother and daughter appeared very happy, their cheeks flushed. They quickly completed the formalities and left as soon as they could. Throughout the previous week, they hadn't visited him for even a moment, nor had any friends or relatives come to see him."

Hearing that surprised me and made me worry about the boy. 'There must be something wrong with his family, which makes him behave this way.'

"B-but Sensei, I'm not talking about his family. I'm talking about him. When he woke up, he was unusually calm, as if nothing had happened, or as if it was just normal for him. He seemed to already know why he was admitted here and who had brought him in." Hearing that Sensei raised his eyebrows and changed his focus to me.

" If what you are saying is right and judging from his family's attitude, He might be suffering from child abuse and I also found some bruises and wounds on him. At first, I thought it might be from some fight between kids that's normal at that age but if what you are saying is right. Then we need to call the authorities and tell them about it. But first, we need to confirm it."

"So, what we do now, sensei?"

"According to the hospital procedure, we need to call the patient's family first but in this case, we need to talk to Hiroki first."

After saying that, both of us started to walk towards Hiroki's room.

Satoshi's pov

'I've never seen Risa like this before. She is the only nurse who can effectively communicate with and understand younger patients. Every child admitted here, whether unconscious or injured, calms down after speaking with Risa. She has a unique ability to comprehend children's behaviours and knows how to soothe them. When it comes to caring for kids, she is the best nurse. If she feels uneasy about that boy, it might be worth looking into.'

After some time we reached Hiroki's room and I opened the door and tried to greet Hiroki.

" Good morning, Mister Hiroki I am Docto-"

I am surprised Hiroki is not in his bed.

" Morning doctor."

When I moved to see where this sound came from, I saw him near the window, watching the sky like nothing had happened to him.

"Mister Hiroki, you are still not fully healed. Please get back into bed."

I was taken aback when I saw him. 'Risa is right; there is something strange about him. His expressionless face and voice convey no emotion.' Rather than returning to his bed, he approached me and looked directly into my eyes.

"Doctor Satoshi, when can I go back home?"

'What is up with his eyes? It's like I'm looking at the sky, but instead of giving me a feeling of freedom, they resemble a void that is sucking my soul in.'

I averted my gaze from him.

"After I examine your body and if I find nothing unusual you can go. I will inform your family after this so they can come and pick you up. Please sit on your bed and let me examine your body."

"Okay"

'What with this boy? There are no emotions I can feel from him, and that poker face he is showing is hiding something. I can't understand, but it is my duty as a doctor and a citizen of this country. I will try to help him if he is having some problems with his family.

"Mister Hiroki, I want to ask you something about your family. I know it is personal, but is there anything wron" Before I could finish my sentence he intervened and directly looked into my eyes and said.

"Everything is fine, doctor. There's nothing wrong with them, I can assure you that." Again, with that expressionless look, but the eyes—just by looking into them—sent a chill down my spine, and my body started to scream to run away.

"O-ok if you said that I-I will inform your family to pick you up. Please rest here until then. Let's go, Risa." I stand up and leave that room as fast as possible.

"Sensei wait for me. " Risa shouted for me to wait for her but I couldn't stop my body started to go away to that boy as far as possible.

After reaching the centre of the corridor I regain control over my body and stop there. I started to take long breaths to calm myself down.

"Sensei, what happend? Are you fine? Did you need something?"

"Risa, you.... you are right there is something wrong with that boy and it's not something like child abuse. It's much worse than we can expect."

What happened to Hiroki? Why does he change like this?

One week ago ( After Hiroki became unconscious )

We can see Hiroki waking up in a black space.

"What happened? Where am I?" Before he can understand where he is, the sound of someone crying reaches his ears. The crying voice is very familiar to him as if he knows it quite well.

Without thinking much, he stands up and moves towards the sound. With each step Hiroki takes, the crying intensifies more and more. Then he found the source of that sound he saw a blond-haired boy curled like a ball and crying like someone precious to him had died.

Hiroki is afraid but he knows that he needs to find out what happened to that boy and where he was. Hiroki gathers some courage reaches out to that boy and places his hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, what happened? Why are you cryin-" Hiroki was shocked when he saw the face of the boy before him. The boy looked exactly like Hiroki, but the only difference was that his eyes were red from crying so much. Hiroki fell back in disbelief, taken aback by the sight of someone who mirrored his appearance, weeping so uncontrollably. Then, he felt something warm in his hand. When he looked down, he was horrified to see blood smeared across his palm. He looks back to determine where this blood came from, but that is the wrong choice he made. Hiroki sees another version of himself, but instead of crying, he lies dead, blood flowing from a huge cut on his neck. he starts to move backwards without looking away from his two versions but then he hears a loud bang coming from behind. When he looks behind there's a third version of him who is punching a wall while growling in rage. There was a lot of blood that was coming out of his knuckles but he didn't stop hitting the wall. He didn't care if his hand was broken he kept hitting the wall with much greater force than before. Hiroki is overwhelmed by an inexplicable situation where there are three versions of himself: one crying, one lifeless, and one frantically hitting a wall. Before he can grasp what is happening, he feels an intense heat behind him and catches the scent of something burning. Fear grips him; he hesitates, unsure of what to do. However, he knows avoiding the situation won't allow him to escape. Mustering his courage, Hiroki shifts his body to get a better view and is horrified to see his own house engulfed in flames, accompanied by the desperate screams of many people coming from inside but then he hears someone laughing like a madman. When he moves to see who is that person he sees another version of himself in front of his house and what terrifies him the most is that he has a tank of gasoline in his hand and a lighter in the other.

"WHO ARE YOU ALL? WHERE AM I? WHAT IS HAPPING TO ME?" Hiroki shouts with all his power. Then he sees his four versions. They stop doing what they are doing and look straight toward Hiroki. Hiroki was terrified by seeing this but before he could say something the four versions of him spoke in unison.

"Accept us"

Hiroki didn't understand what they meant but before he could say something all of his version started to run toward him. Hiroki got scared and started to run in the opposite directions they all started to shout in unison while running toward Hiroki.

"ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ACCEPT US ."

"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO ME?" Before Hiroki could get far enough away from them, he tripped and fell to the ground. As he looked up, he saw his other versions rushing toward him faster than before, and he understood that he couldn't run away. In a desperate attempt to protect himself, he raised his hands in front of his face and closed his eyes. When he finally opened them, he found his other versions staring at him, standing still and silent. Confused, he tried to make sense of the situation, but then he heard footsteps behind him.

As he looked behind, he saw another version of himself staring back at him. This doppelgänger stood still like the others, but he was different; his face was devoid of emotion, and his gaze was cold. Hiroki felt confused and terrified. He had no idea what was happening to him.

"Wh-where am I? Who are you all? Why do you all look like me?"

"We are in your mind Hiroki." THe one who arrived in the last answer Hiroki.

"What kind of prank is that?"

"It's not a prank Hiroki or how can you justify seeing 5 version of yourself." Hiroki admit that its true or how can his 5 versions as him.

" You are in a coma Hiroki because of the trauma you received from our family, friend and girlfriend." Just remembering that Hiroki became sad and his crying and dead version started to come close towards Hiroki but was stopped by the emotionless version of Hiroki.

"Now let me explain about your four versions. They are your emotions Hiroki."

"My emotions?"

"That's right, Hiroki. The one who is crying represents sadness. The one with the cut neck symbolizes despair. The one hitting the wall embodies rage, and the last—perhaps the most dangerous of all—is madness, which results from your loss of consciousness. These emotions couldn't fully manifest, and now you need to make a choice: will you choose sadness and despair, or rage and madness?"

Hiroki is more confused than before first the betrayal of his family and friends and now there are 5 version of him. Who represent his emotions and now he need to choose two of them. but before he can understand anything. THe emotionless version of him spoke.

"But before you make a choice, it's important to understand the consequences of your decision. If you choose sadness and despair upon waking from your coma, you may fall into depression. The first thought might be to commit suicide, but what if you are unable to do so? You could end up living as a shadow of your former self, and your trauma will likely deepen, especially since your family may continue to humiliate you."

"On the other hand, if you choose anger and madness, your initial reaction might be to seek revenge on those you perceive as traitors. Even if you succeed in this endeavour, you would be faced with a life in prison for killing eight people. And if you somehow manage to escape law enforcement, you would still struggle with severe anger issues and a lack of trust in everyone around you."

Hiroki is more terrified by hearing this. He didn't want that, he just tried to protect his loved ones but now he need to choose between killing himself or killing them and living his life with anger and trust issues. He can't understand what he did wrong to get a punishment like this.

Seeing this the emotionless Hiroki said something that gave hope to Hiroki.

"you know you have a third option too and that's me but I am not an emotion Hiroki. I am a desire of yours that you have when you run from your room. I am a desire for freedom. Freedom from your trauma and emotions. But choosing me has consequences too. If you choose me you will lose your emotions and trauma. YOu became an emotionless person with only one desire freedom and no matter what you need to do to achieve that you will do it without any hesitation. Even if you need to kill someone." Hearing the last line scared Hiroki.

"But you have many advantages by choosing me and one of them is that your body limits will gone you can use your full potential and you will not feel pain even if someone cuts one of your limbs many more advantages."

"But what about my other emotions like happiness and joy? If I accept you I can't even feel them right."

"Even if you choose sadness and despair or anger and madness you can't feel happiness with them but there's a little chance you will gain back your emotions with me than the other two."

"How?"

"This world is so big Hiroki. You will meet someone who can support you and you can also trust them. But If you choose the other option it can be impossible because the state your mind will reach after choosing them makes you so distant to others."

"But what about my family and friends how will you help me to get free from them."

"I am not going to free you from them because I am going to use them as they as you." That's scared Hiroki a bit

"So, Who will you choose Hiroki? Me or them." Hiroki is a little confused about choosing the right decision but he doesn't want to live his life in depression or with anger and trust issues and a free tag of murderer. With a heavy sigh.

"Okay, I choose you," Hiroki said raising his hand towards his emotionless version.
