Hey Vi, watcha doing there in the fields? Playing pansies there? Haha, you're such a loser~
Mou, Meanie~ I'll tell mommy that you've been bullying me again Haurum. If Aunt Hibina catches you again, she'll...she'll...she'll spank you so hard that you can't come out to play for two–no, three days! Then we'll see who's the pansy, hmph!
Ahahahah! Take this Vi! Ten thousand years of pain, hah!
With a strong trust, the young boy aimed his fingers right at the girl's belly, but missed as she deftly dodged to the right, causing him to fall into the small river instead. Seeing himself all wet and spitting water from his sad mouth, she began laughing, laughing so hard that she fell on her back, clutching her stomach, unable to breathe.
Seeing the young girl laughing to the point of being unable to breathe, he began laughing at the sight as well...

Haah!
Taking a sharp breath, she woke up curled up in front of a burning fire. Looking around, her eyes shrank once she found that the same monster that 'kidnapped' her was sitting beside her, its eyes staring deep into the fire. Glancing to her left, she sighed a breath of relief, glad that the staff was still in her hand.
Seeing that the beast's eyes were not focused on her, she sneakily picked up her staff, attempting to cast a spell on him to knock him unconscious. She knew she could not kill him, so she attempted plan B – escape.
Just as she had pointed the staff at the green monster, it spoke to her. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, kid..." Her eyes shrank, but it did not deter her. "If you know what's best for you, beast, you will let me go, and never follow me. If you do so, I'll, I'll, I'll–"
"You'll do what, light candles in the air? Kid, if you weren't an Elf, and if you had some connection with what happened in this village, you'd be dead right now, for high treason..."
With that, the second speaker emerged from the bushes, carrying a bundle of sticks on his arms. "We've been dispatched by her Highness, Celestine Von Titania, for the sole purpose of finding out what happened here. Any attempts against us are a crime worthy of high treason!"
At this sentence, the little girl kneeled at Duncan's feet, her body shaking in fear. "I-I-I'm sorry your Lordships, f-for slowing you down. I-I believed that you were part of those vile men who came that day. They killed everyone, they killed everyone..."
At this point tears began flooding out of her, staining her white frock dark. "Pleesh, pleesh halp me..."
From here on, the duo listened raptly, horror growing each moment. From the beginning of the invasion, to the point where she ran together forest, Duncan's nails cleaved into his palms, anger visible in his face. Who on Earadun would do such a thing!? Dont they know that this would break the Vismarck Treaty!? Yet, I still don't know who did it, and where could they have taken the survivors...
Titus, on the other hand, was focused on something else, something else entirely...
How on Terra did she gain fragments of the Bell of Aethernia!?

Feeling that it would be cruel to leave the young girl alone, Duncan decided to bring her along with them, until they reached back to tbe Capitol. There, they would send her to his mother, where she will decide what to do with her.
"Oh hey, forgot to ask, what's your name?
Looking up at the curious Duncan, the little girl finally felt she could trust him. "M-my name is Vivian Aescerna..."
