The café was bustling with the usual life and noise of Venosa. Marco was sitting in the usual corner, watching every movement in the café with curious eyes, while Franco was filling his cup with hot coffee as if he was in a battle with time. Salvo was looking through some papers he had collected while searching for new members for the gang. As they were talking about their upcoming plans, a huge figure entered the café.
He was an impressive entity, wearing an all-black suit, which made him look like he had just stepped out of an action movie. His body was huge and athletic, his muscles prominent and he walked as if he owned the entire space around him. His face was stern, his eyes reflecting the strength and nervousness of the character. To others, he looked as if he had just come from an "invasion" that had not yet ended.
"Who is this?" Salvo whispered, raising his eyebrows, noticing the new person.
"I don't know, but he has an energy like you feel when you meet an alien!" Marco replied with a laugh.
While everyone was exchanging glances, the large man named Luca Ferri entered the café with obvious confidence, as if he knew that all eyes would be on him, and he smiled a strong but cold smile.
Luca Ferri sat at the table closest to them, and gestured to the waiter with an uncomfortable smile. "Cappuccino, please. And don't tell me I need to wait."
The waiter, who was used to strange customers, quickly placed the order while Luca continued to observe the place around him. The atmosphere was tense, and suddenly, his eyes met Marco's, who was watching him intently.
"Is that Luca Ferri?" Franco asked in a low voice, as if the name alone was enough to cause chaos.
"Exactly, he's a known arms dealer and smuggler. He's being pursued by all Interpol agencies… Don't let him notice us." Marco said, quickly looking away from Luca.
But, as in most uncomfortable situations, Luca Ferri was not someone to be easily ignored.
Suddenly, Luca Ferri looked towards them. His eyes were sharp, as if he was scanning every corner of the café. After a few seconds of awkward silence, he smiled slightly and pointed at them.
"You two… Marco? And Franco?" Luca Ferri said, his voice low but carrying a weight that could not be ignored.
Franco, who felt a chill in his bones, smiled nervously and said, "Yes, we are… Marco and Franco. Welcome to Venosa."
Luca Ferri, who seemed to be living in his own world, said, "You have a good reputation in the city, but I don't think you're just here for coffee." Then he added in a strange tone, "I think you need something… something big."
Mysterious Plans
As the eyes watched them, a strange conversation erupted between Luca and Marco's team.
"Well, if you're looking for something…" Marco said with a hint. "We're looking for the best weapons, ones that you can smuggle easily… without leaving a trace."
Luca Ferri chuckled, as if he had anticipated this conversation. "Weapons? I sell weapons that make you disappear. But I don't think you're willing to pay for them."
Franco, who was still trying to process the situation, said in a cautious tone, "We're not stupid… We can agree on a reasonable price."
But Luca Ferri wasn't easy. "You two are about to pay more than you can imagine. But, since I'm in a good mood, I'll make you a special offer."
As the conversation escalated, another person suddenly entered the café. He was wearing a formal suit, and had a serious expression on his face. Luca Ferri quickly noticed this person, and his gaze changed to one of sharp, worried eyes.
"Oh, no… I shouldn't be here." Luca Ferri whispered as he looked at the new person, then quickly added, "Excuse me guys, I have some work to do."
Suddenly, Luca Ferri quickly left the café, before anyone could ask him anything else. He was flexing his massive muscles as he quickly exited the café, while the person who had just entered started following him.
"What is this?" Marco said, watching the scene in astonishment. "Did you see that? He was trying to disappear quickly as if Interpol was at the door!"
Franco, still trying to understand the situation, said, "I think he was trying to close a deal. But why doesn't he trust us?"
Salvo laughed and said, "He was clearly running away from something, and he probably thought we had a suspicious plan too!"
Marco smiled and said, "Maybe we need to pay a second visit, don't we? It seems like there are a lot of things left undisclosed in this city."
As they exchanged opinions, it was clear that Luca Ferri was not just an arms dealer, but that he had a lot of secrets behind him. As he leaves the café, the biggest question on everyone's mind is: Will the relationship between Venosa and Luca Ferri continue, or will this man's mysterious hideout remain one of the biggest mysteries in the mafia game?
