Chapter 42: The Unknown Enemy

Café Venosa - 11:00 AM

The atmosphere at Café Venosa was tense, after the chaos that had happened the day before. Marco, Franco, Salvo, and Columbo were sitting around the same table, staring intently at the laptop screen in front of them.

Colombo, pressing some buttons: "This is a picture of the man. His name is unknown, but he seems to have huge influence in the underworld."

Franco, turning his head nervously: "Who is this? And how could he be behind all this chaos?"

Marco, sighing and looking at the picture: "This is not just an ordinary man. This is a dangerous person. The man sitting behind the scenes, pulling the strings everywhere, and we are just pawns in his game."

Salvo, smiling wickedly: "So, this is the person who will make our lives more exciting?"

Marco, shaking his head: "You don't realize how dangerous he is, Salvo. This guy could be behind most of the events that have been happening around us, including the attack on the café."

Colombo, adding cautiously: "I tried to hack some systems. This guy isn't just a regular mafia dealer. He's behind huge companies, shady finances, and seems to control a lot of covert operations."

Franco, thinking about it: "So he's not just a gang leader, there's something bigger. He could be behind everything."

Marco, turning to them firmly: "Yes, and that means we have to be more careful. If we want to get rid of him, we have to move quickly and smartly."

Salvo, raising his eyebrows defiantly: "Didn't we agree that chaos was part of our plan? You're asking for intelligence now?"

Marco, smiling narrowly: "Chaos is under control, Salvo. There's a difference between creating chaos and falling into it."

While they were talking, a huge man entered the café. He looked worried, his eyes darting around as if he was searching for something or someone.

The huge man, approaching the table: "Are you Marco?"

Marco, looking at the man suspiciously: "Yes. What do you want?"

The huge man, breathing heavily: "I'm here to tell you something important. There's another person... who wants to eliminate you all."

Franco, raising his eyebrow: "Now we hear everything. And who is this person we haven't heard about before?"

The huge man, whispering: "The one who runs everything... is the one who sent me. His name is 'Veriano.'"

Marco, smiling wickedly: "I think we have a new enemy in the arena. But the question now is how are we going to deal with this?"

Salvo, winking: "Maybe we should invite Ferriano. We need to know more about this man, and if he intends to control us, we will show him that the Venosa Cafe is no place for him."

Colombo, wiping his hands cautiously: "If this man is indeed watching us, we need to be prepared. And move quickly. We will need a solid plan."

Marco, thinking deeply: "Yes. First we will need to gather information. If Ferriano is the one behind everything, maybe we can penetrate his plans before it is too late."

While they were exchanging opinions and making plans, Lucino suddenly entered the cafe, looking unusually angry.

Lucino, shouting: "Again?! What are you doing here, are you trying to destroy the cafe?!"

Franco, smiling sarcastically: "You see, Lucino, life is full of surprises."

Lucino, raising his hands in the air: "If you're going to kill me in the end, please, don't do it here!"

Marco, pointing at the big man: "Calm down, Lucino. This man came to tell us something that could change everything."

Lucino, staring at the big man: "Is he one of you?"

The big man, bowing slightly: "I'm just a messenger. But there's someone else... who wants to eliminate you."

Salvo, laughing loudly: "What is this? Are we now the heroes of an action movie?"

Marco, looking at them seriously: "There's no time for fun now. We have a plan to put into action, and if we want to stop "Feriano," we have to act now."

Franco, adding firmly: "We won't let him get away from us. We're here to take control, and we'll do everything we can."

Everyone began to make a plan to confront this new enemy that would add a great challenge to their lives, but they knew that chaos must be part of their upcoming battle.
