Chapter 4: The Demon God’s Hunt

Kael moved through the dense foliage of the Forest of Tob, his body blending with the shadows. The further he went, the stronger the aura of death in the air became.

His goal was simple—hunt, level up, and grow stronger.

E-Rantel was a dead zone for experience. The real prey lurked in the wild, waiting to be culled.

Soon, through the thick trees, he noticed a cluster of crude wooden huts, surrounded by makeshift wooden spikes—a goblin village.

A Village of Monsters

Although in other anime, goblins were infamous, especially in hentai, in this world, they were real monsters.

A small group of goblins was enough to wipe out an entire human village. They were savage, brutal creatures who raided towns, kidnapped people, and left nothing but destruction behind.

Kael observed them for a moment.

The goblins were filthy, dressed in tattered armor, and wielding rusty swords and clubs. They were laughing and feasting on some kind of raw meat—likely from their latest hunt.

Weak.

He extended his hand, summoning his first real attack.

A massive golden spear materialized above the goblin village.

Its presence alone sent a pressure wave rippling through the air, causing the goblins to pause and look up.

Their eyes widened in terror.

Then—

BOOM!

The Sky Spear descended like a divine judgment, obliterating everything in its path.

The wooden huts? Disintegrated.

The goblins? Turned to dust.

The land itself? Reduced to scorched earth.

The entire village was gone in an instant.

He gained few hundred Exp.

Kael checked his mana consumption.

Sky Spear Used: 400 MP

Current Mana: 800 MP

At the same time, a new system message appeared.

[Passive Effect Activated: Mana Regeneration]

After some time of travelling through forest he recovered 20% of his mana.

His mana recovered, bringing his total to 960 MP.

"Hmm… My mana recovery is good," he mused. If he kept hunting non-stop, he could continuously regenerate and keep fighting.

The destruction he had caused was only the beginning.

His Sky Spear had wiped out an entire goblin village in an instant, turning everything to dust. But that alone wasn't enough—he needed more experience, more power.

His sharp gaze swept across the dark forest, locking onto new prey.

The Hunt Continues

A low growl rumbled in the distance.

Kael stopped walking and narrowed his eyes.

Within seconds, he sensed a group of creatures moving toward him—fast.

A pack of dire wolves, massive beasts that stood as tall as men, emerged from the shadows. Their glowing red eyes locked onto him as they spread out, preparing to attack.

Their leader, a black-furred alpha, snarled before lunging toward him.

Kael remained still.

Just before the beast's fangs could sink into him, he extended a single hand.

A miniature Sky Spear formed in his palm—this one much smaller than the one he used before, but no less deadly.

He flicked his wrist.

The spear shot forward at lightning speed, piercing straight through the alpha's skull.

The wolf didn't even have time to yelp—it was already dead before it hit the ground.

The remaining wolves hesitated.

Kael smirked.

"Not smart enough to run?" he taunted.

He raised his hand, summoning a larger Sky Spear above him, glowing with crackling energy.

Then—he swung his arm down.

The spear exploded downward, crashing into the ground right in the center of the wolf pack.

BOOM!

A massive shockwave erupted, sending dirt and fire into the air. The wolves were torn apart instantly, their howls of agony fading as their bodies disintegrated into nothingness.

[EXP Gained: 650]

Kael checked his mana consumption.

Sky Spear Used: 600 MP

Current Mana: 600 MP

But at the same time—

"Not bad," he muttered. His mana recovery rate was excellent. As long as he paced himself, he could keep fighting almost endlessly.

But the monsters of the forest weren't done yet.

The Forest Burns

Kael continued his massacre.

A group of giant spiders, each the size of a horse, descended from the treetops.

Kael didn't even flinch—he simply pointed a finger, summoning multiple Sky Spears in the air.

Each spear hovered for a second, then shot forward like missiles, piercing through the creatures in rapid succession.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Within seconds, the entire group was reduced to twitching corpses.

More creatures charged at him at this time.

A swarm of undead, remnants of ancient adventurers, crawled from the ground.

A massive ogre, carrying a bloodstained club, roared as it lunged forward.

Kael sighed.

"So desperate to die?"

He clenched his fist, summoning a massive Sky Spear, its tip pulsating with raw energy.

Then—he thrust it forward.

The spear split into multiple speats, each one targeting a different enemy.

BOOM! The undead crumbled to dust, their souls extinguished.

BOOM! The ogre's body exploded, torn apart from the inside.

The battlefield was now a wasteland of destruction.

[EXP Gained: 140]

Kael examined his surroundings. The once peaceful forest had been turned into a graveyard.

Charred trees, craters of smoldering earth, and the scent of death filled the air.

He had cleared an entire area—no monster dared approach anymore.

For the first time in centuries, the balance of the forest had shifted.

And something else had noticed.

Deep within the forest, a great beast stirred.

The tremors, the shockwaves, the absolute destruction—it could no longer ignore it.

The Wise King of the Forest, an ancient magical beast, opened its red eyes.

It had ruled this land for over a century, never fearing any adventurer or monster. But now, something had entered its domain that threatened its reign.

It moved, its massive paws crushing the earth beneath it, heading straight toward the source of destruction.

Kael, still standing amid his battlefield, sensed the new powerful presence approaching.

He didn't seem bothered—if anything, he looked amused.

A super low-profile version of Sky Spear materialized in his hand, glowing dimly as he spun it between his fingers.

Then, from the shadows, his next opponent finally appeared.

The Wise King of the Forest

The creature that emerged was massive.

Covered in silver fur, with sharp claws and a long, thick tail, it stood at least two meters tall on all fours.

Its red eyes locked onto Kael, burning with fierce intelligence.

If it were an ordinary adventurer, they would have been terrified by its overwhelming presence.

Kael, however,… found it cute.

"A giant hamster?" he muttered, barely holding back a laugh.

The Wise King of the Forest growled, clearly offended.

It had intimidated countless challengers, but this human-looking creature dared to mock it?

The enormous hamster bristled in anger.

Kael, on the other hand, relaxed his stance slightly, examining the beast with mild amusement.

This only fueled the Wise King's rage.

It let out a mighty roar, shaking the trees around them, its body tensed for a fight.

Kael smirked, raising his Sky Spear slightly.

"Alright," he said casually, tilting his head. "Let's see if you're worth my time."
