Rescue

Charles' point of view.

I could not hold my daughters to blame. All that happened was all our fault, and majorly mine.

I underrated the man, though I knew he was a military special agent, but I wasn't expecting him to be well-prepared for us like that.

At the mission meeting, I was the one that brought up the idea that the daughters do not need to go with guns.

The daughters left home for the mission, and about forty minutes later, I was in my room, and I heard they were back.

I came down the stairs in full confidence having the thought of the mission had been accomplished.

But I got to the sitting room downstairs and saw Oscar lying on the floor and her blood painted some items and the floor.

I got frightened. I had never been that frightened my whole life. My heart almost stopped working. The last time I could say I came close to that state of being frightened was when Milan's aunt caught us having sex.

It got worse when Mince calmly explained what had happened to them to Milan and me.

The situation was just too odd and complicated. Why was it Ace and Oscar?

Ace took resemblance to her mother completely, and Oscar is just a female copy of me, even though I am not her biological father, and this happened to the two of them.

Mince was trained as a medical doctor in the case of this type of thing, and she assures me Oscar will be fine though.

Our only problem now is Ace. Ace is one of the family members we cannot afford to lose because of her skills.

The truth is, I can't lose any of my daughters, they all have their contributions to our project with different skills on the mission.

The major cause for alarm now is that Vesta, Swiss and Helen went back to the building to rescue Ace. We were hoping they would bring back Ace with them, but they came with two giant men that had been beaten black and blue.

Ace's point of view.

Fada, I love him so much, he prepared us well for all this.

I was blindfolded and transported to another place, and kept in a room, and I could still find my way home. The secret behind it is that, when we were training, I meant tactical ones as teens.

Fada blindfolded us and took us to unknown woods even with our hands tied, and he asked us to find our way out. He would then check the time it took us to make it out.

I got the scar on my right arm through one of those sessions, because when we first started such training, it was hell until we mastered it and bossed it.

Now if I eventually get out of this room that I was kept in, I will surely get home safely, I am certain.

I was too focused, because I wanted to avenge the man that shot my sister, and I lost guard, and got hit by a stick from behind.

Fada once said, "Be weak in a fight, and get beaten for it".

My heartbeat is high, my temperature is damn hot too.

The pain in my neck is one, the knowledge of Oscar being shot is another.

I am so worried and baffled. I tried to imagine the state of my family at the moment. Sadness and curiosity filled my heart.

If it had been anyone else that was in my situation, I would have tracked her down. But, we all have our own different skills, and I am the only computer girl in the family.

I hope Mince can fix Oscar up before any damage, and hopefully, she doesn't lose her spinal cord even if she survived, because I saw it was her back that the bullets hit.

"Oh, too much thinking". I was overthinking about the place I am. I can't even settle down my brain to figure out how I am going to escape. I just kept thinking of Oscar and the rest of the family.

Oscar is so lovely, that girl. She makes friends easily, she's so welcoming and quickly finds solutions to problems.

My mind says, nothing bad will happen to her. I should trust my instincts.

Oscar would be fine. Oscar is fine. Just after I had that psychological meeting in my head, I had a discussion with myself about getting myself out of the room I was locked in.

It's now the second day, and no one showed up. The iron gate to the room can't be opened from the inside no matter how much I try, so I didn't bother.

I wasn't given food or water. The last food or water I had was the one I took before we set out for this mission.

My plan is, if any man shows up, I will try to seduce him, knock him out, and release myself of this suffering.

I quickly did some light exercises to be prepared for a fight and cleaned myself up to look good.

I waited and waited, no ine showed up. I started dozing off, and just like it's a dream, I heard footsteps.

My mind told me to pretend like I was sleeping, then, I realized it wasn't one person that was coming.

None of my plans are going to work; not the seducing, not pretending to sleep.

I was still deep in thoughts when the door opened. When it opened, I saw two women, one holding a tray of injections, the three syringes. One is yellow, one is red, and the last one is green.

The other woman is holding a tray that has medical clothes on it.

They came in and stood across the entrance. I quickly stood on my feet, staying very close to the wall, away from them.

What was going on was the question disturbing my head. They stood there, and they seemed to wait for an order.

Not long as they were waiting, the walkie-talkie in the hand of one of them received a signal.

He raised it up to hear it out, and a voice said, "Go on".

The man moved close to me and wanted to touch me with the taser in his hand.

I never knew what they were up to, but I was sure it would not be anything good for sure, and I am not going to watch them do anything bad to me without giving them a fight.

The first one that got to me got a broken nose. I was going to knock him down, but I was too weak to land a good blow, and he was very strong to go down with a blow from my weak hand.

They rearranged themselves, and got the better of me. The height of the floor started increasing in my eyes, and I soon found myself on the floor almost unconscious.

And hallucinations commenced to take place in my sight. I saw the two women go down, and the trays on their hands fell to call the attention of the men.

The men were captured and Vesta, Helen and Fada were the three I saw.
