The first Human

The being was curious about what his first life creation was doing, so he started with one of the races—humans.

Adam, the first human, was confused as to why he was sleeping on the ground. He looked at his surroundings only to find that he was in a forest. Curious, he stood up and examined his body, only to realize that he was naked.

"What's happening?"

The being watched him, confused. "Why does this human look dumb? Should I give him something, like a book, so he can start his journey? And if I'm not mistaken, I added the Law of Purpose. Why does this one look like he doesn't even have a purpose?"

As Adam continued looking at his surroundings and examining his body, suddenly a book appeared in the sky and hit him in the head.

"Ouch, what the heck? What is this?" After Adam opened the book, a light flashed before his eyes, and suddenly his head hurt as knowledge flowed into his mind.

"So I'm human, and this is a book. What's the title of this book?" As he closed the book again, he saw the title: This is for the Dumbass Like You.

"What the heck? Why is the title like this? Who gave me this crap?! Hey, show yourself!"

Suddenly, a small hand emerged from the air and slapped Adam in the face. Adam touched his face and ran.

"The hell is with that arm? Is that a ghost? Why is there a ghost in broad daylight? Where's my mom? Oh, I don't have a mom."

...

The being laughed, amused by the dumb human. "I like this human. I might make him overpowered and break the world laws if he keeps me entertained." The being smiled.

As Adam ran and ran, he didn't even realize how fast he was running. He had no idea where he was now, of course, because he was dumb. "Is the ghost gone?" After calming down, "I think the ghost is gone. This book... After touching it, knowledge flowed into my head. Is this some kind of magic? Right, magic—something like that came to my mind too. Should I flip another page?"

After flipping to another page, Adam said, "What is this? It looks like me. What's this guy holding? What's up with this dude holding a stick and doing some stance?"

Curious, he noticed a stick on the ground and tried to mimic the stance shown in the book.

The person in the book stood with their feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent for balance. The lead foot was slightly forward, toes pointing toward the opponent, while the rear foot was at a 45-degree angle for better mobility. The weight was distributed evenly, allowing for quick shifts between offense and defense.

The sword was held in the dominant hand with a relaxed but firm grip, knuckles facing slightly inward. The thumb rested on the back of the blade for control, while the fingers wrapped securely around the hilt. The blade was angled downward at roughly a 45-degree angle, just in front of the body, with the tip hovering at the opponent's chest or neck height.

The elbow of the sword hand was slightly bent, not fully extended. This allowed the sword to remain close to the body and ready for both parries and quick strikes. The elbow also served as a safeguard against being disarmed or overpowered.

The off-hand was held at the side, relaxed but ready. It may rest against the hip or be held slightly forward in a defensive position, prepared to intercept attacks or assist in blocking.

The torso was turned slightly sideways to reduce the target area. The chest was open enough to remain flexible, but the fighter's body was angled so that the opponent faced more of the side profile, making it difficult to land clean strikes.

Adam, as if immersed in concentration, didn't realize he was practicing something. "What is this? I feel like I'm practicing something." Adam did it again five more times.

"Huuu... now it feels like swordsmanship, but what's it called?" He flipped the book again, only to find that it was called The Guard of the Wolf.

"Not bad, not bad. I feel like it's a sword technique that prioritizes defense. But why is it here in this book? I don't even have a use for this so-called swordsmanship." After thinking for a moment, he decided it wasn't worth it. He went to rest by a tree in front of him because he was tired of training. But before that, he saw a light flash behind the tree. He looked, only to see a sword.

...

The being sighed, frustrated. "The hell is wrong with this guy? What do you mean you don't have a use for that swordsmanship?" He summoned a sword and set it so that the moment Adam touched the sword, a monster would appear. "How about now?"

"What? Why is there a sword here?" Looking around, Adam saw nothing. Then, as if curious, he touched the sword. After touching it, he heard rustling in the bush. He looked at the bush, only to find three monsters.

Goblins are typically considered the weakest and most basic type. They might be the ones sent on minor tasks, often seen as cannon fodder or basic enemies in dungeons or forests.

Abilities: Simple weapon use (daggers, short swords), weak physical strength, and little to no tactical sense.

Adam, instinctively, grabbed and held the sword. "What are these green creatures? There are three of them. They look scary." Adam was sweating.

The being laughed, as if he had won. "Now you have a use for your swordsmanship. All of my creations have a purpose. Don't say something ridiculous again." The being smiled.

The goblins, not seeing Adam as one of them, attacked. They tried to stab Adam, but to their surprise, Adam used his sword to deflect their daggers and ran. The goblins were confused, but they chased Adam.

...

The being was shocked. "What's wrong with this guy? Why doesn't he use his swordsmanship? He even practiced it!"

Adam kept running, thinking about what to do. "Those guys tried to kill me. I didn't even do anything wrong. What should I do? What should I do?" Desperate, something came to mind.

"Right, I have those sword techniques. Why didn't I think of that?" Adam stopped running and confronted the enemies. After he stopped, one of the goblins that was chasing him jumped and tried to stab him in the head, but Adam rotated his wrist slightly and intercepted the incoming attack. He then used the strength of his legs to strike the goblin.

The next two goblins attacked him from the front, but Adam easily blocked them. He shifted his weight onto his lead foot and stepped forward in a quick burst, delivering a solid vertical strike aimed at both goblins' heads.

"Ha ha ha, I can't believe it. I killed these three green creatures. Where did these creatures come from? They suddenly appeared. They only made me tired. I should at least gain something here." Adam checked the goblins, only to find that they only had daggers. He picked them up. "Maybe these daggers will be useful in the future. Oh, it's getting dark. I should find a place to sleep."

Adam looked around but didn't spot a good place to sleep.

"There's no spot here. I should rest first." Trying to find a place to sit, he saw a giant tree. Looking up, he noticed a spot where he could sleep.

"Nice, that's a better place. I can sleep there without worrying about danger. It's better up there since there might be more creatures like these to pop up." Adam climbed up and found a tree branch large enough to sleep on.

"This book... I don't know why, but I think it at least has a purpose. If I didn't know those sword techniques, maybe I'd be dead. What a lucky charm. But I should rest now. It's getting dark. I'm hungry, but my tired body can't stand up anymore." Adam fell asleep.

...

"At least you know, you dumbass. you should keep doing that, in the future." The being smiled, pleased with the human.
