Mission completed: Grandmother passed. Favorability: 70% (Friendship low) I was expecting something higher, to be honest. Maybe I should have spent my money as well to give away something more impressive than just a Pek chocolate. Although, on second thought, my mom will love it). Two points to spend. In my room, I tell the system that yes, I have my strategy.
I'll use my saved points.

Ethan sighs. "These points are like a vice." He smiles to himself.
My charisma and luck were low before, but completing exercise missions gave me ability points, so I used them to increase them. And from time to time my strength, since when I train alone it goes up, and so do the others. Except for luck which is what you are born with, likewise health. And the most complicated is the charisma, as it was a real social burden. I remember those awkward situations, those conversations that turned into awkward silences... but with the missions and constant training, things have improved significantly. Charisma is the hardest thing to raise, a skill that is built with time and practice. It's a slow and tedious process, but I see the progress. And understanding people.... phew! Phew, it's a minefield. I better use the points. I've learned the hard way, the hard way, from mistakes and embarrassing situations that I'd rather forget.
Moreover, quests are not my only source of skill points. Macro points, which are obtained thanks to my friends, have allowed me to raise my stats without having to level up. Facepoints are slower to get because they are only obtained by making a new friend (and the amount depends on the difficulty of the quest), while microdots are obtained when friends release emotions directed towards me (appreciation, sadness, etc.). Microdots are obtained from the emotions of people who do not know me, but somehow feel something towards me. I only found out about the microdots recently; it seems that at first the system didn't know how to notify me, so it has been accumulating.
A waste to spend it. But I have no choice....
Today was a satisfying day. Ethan reads a manga with the system.
(It turned out that the prince was in love with the protagonist.)
(But still, if he had confessed his love, he could have changed their fates.) Says the system pained by the event.
(The same thing would have happened anyway, since the author likes to make plays like that.)
Ethan does not notice that the system is getting irritated.
System (...)
(It's time, I'll go to sleep. Good night.)
System (Good night...)
While Ethan sleeps, the system starts watching videos.
