Prologue: The General & the Foolish Prince

On the battlefield, General Bai Xianyu was a legend—firm, strong, and invincible.

Within the palace, Prince Zhao Renshu was the disgrace of the royal family—careless, lazy, and constantly making a mess.

However, fate played a cruel trick on them. General Bai Xianyu, who was used to cutting down enemies on the battlefield, now had to become the personal guard of the Foolish Prince.

And the task?

Protect the prince from palace conspiracies.

Easy, right? Wrong.

Because before the assassins could even make a move, the prince almost died due to his own carelessness.
