Rules inside the Mansion

Just a few corners later, they found themselves approaching a grand mansion. They noticed some magnificent carriages lining the entrance. Upon arriving at the imposing gate, they were greeted by a large entryway. Shaji was surprised. "I didn't expect the guards to be exceptionally tall," he remarked. The guards had a mix of human and monster features.

A gorgeous woman descended the steps while they lingered at the side of the gate entrance. Shaji's gaze inadvertently fell upon Melon, who was of considerable size. Alva cautioned Shaji by tapping him on the head. "I warned you not to get too engrossed. That woman smells a bit like a demon—like you. Charming blood demons! Hold on, Shaji I'm not sure what kind of demon blood you carry. Could you elaborate on the nature of your blood demon lineage, Shaji?"

"I'm unsure about my blood type. Someone has accused me of being Abaddon. Could you please tell me who Abaddon is?" Shaji asked, confused. Alva paused momentarily and stared at him. "What?"

Shaji was pulled back by Alva. "That's why you smell different. This is a bit risky, but it might be worth it! There are reports of other demonic entities seeking to confront individuals with Abaddon lineage. We need to get in as quickly as possible, Shaji. Take a deep breath; demonstrate Diablo Presencia; show a sense of inferiority," Alva explained. "That's how they're going to fear and respect us. Are you ready, Shaji?"

The gate's threshold was within sight, and they were about to step through. A guard was making their way toward them. The other four guards knelt, and Alva did the same, all of them vomiting blood. Luckily, Alva managed to pull at Shaji's clothes, reviving them all. It seemed that Shaji's presence had an impact. The guards confidently declined any further inquiries, saying, "Boss, please refrain from using that approach in the future. We value our lives and want to continue living. Telling you this was a mistake; I'd be overwhelmed. The experience of Abaddon's demonic presence is one I will never forget; it is both terrifying and undeniable." Alva complained, "Seriously, I haven't taken any action yet. You said I'd intimidate them, but I'm confused." Shaji replied, "That's a bit excessive, but we've made it inside. Our next move is to make it look like we're purchasing something. If we can afford it, I have something ready to pay

In this mansion, I will guide you with my words, understood? Shaji? Is everything clear? Could you please pull your hood back so they don't feel uncomfortable? Stay in the back, please." A member of the mansion staff approached them, noticing the strange scent. "What can I prepare for you today, sir?" the staff member asked.

"We'd like to see all your merchandise so we can make a selection. My boss is meticulous when it comes to women, so he wants to see everything. He only desires individuals of human origin," Alva explained. "I understand your boss prefers high-quality products," the staff member replied with a grin. "Would you like to come down to the lower floor? We've got a wide selection of delicious, fresh foods waiting for you to discover." They were heading down the stairs as they passed the foyer. a group of privileged individuals, as well as the woman they saw at the gate. Alva asked the staff who they were. They were nobility with demon blood, the staff said

When they arrived on the ground floor, they discovered it was a prison with decent facilities and plenty of space. "Please enjoy yourselves," the staff told them. Each cell had a guard present, and they visited each one, entering them one by one. Alva observed the prisoners while Shaji asked who was from the town of Gerping. When they reached the fifth cell, six inmates said they were from Gerping. Shaji stood up, left the cell, and spoke to the guard, saying, "I have chosen them."

Princess Pamela was not present until the last cell. Alva inquired if there were any more options. The guard replied that there were none; the others had been sent to another town. The two decided to leave in search of what they were looking for.

In the lobby, the staff immediately approached them and asked them to sit on the sofa and wait for payment. After a few minutes, the staff returned and said, "Sorry, there are just a few issues; Someone challenged your boss. You know the rules here inside the mansion." Alva was surprised. "Is it true what I heard? The demons are already onto this."

They requested a moment to discuss things privately. Alva explained their situation to Shaji. "I anticipated this. But I trust your abilities. Listen: there are rules here inside the mansion; they have something called a challenge battle. Anyone who wants to fight inside cannot refuse. If you refuse, we won't make it out alive. Don't worry; I'll talk to the staff; we have a few requests. "Prepare yourself. I can only trust you right now. Okay, I'll go talk to the staff." While Alva was speaking with the staff, Shaji was momentarily stunned. He checked his status and discovered that his level had increased, unlocking several skills, mainly knife skills, including those he had used during his recent hunts.

To rewind a bit, before they entered the portal on the day of the kingdom festival, the mystery man had been talking to Joyce, who had given her some items. Joyce had already learned the art of potion-making, and before they entered the portal, she injected them with booster potions, including a special potion from the mystery man. Shaji had been told that once he fought those with blood demons, he needed to extract the blood, and any edible parts of the flesh would be taken as well.

Despite this, Shaji still felt a bit complacent. After a while, Alva patted him on the shoulder and asked, "Are you okay? Are you scared?" Shaji replied, "I can do this," and then inquired about what Alva had been talking about. Alva explained, "We agreed that if we could leave you alone, it would help keep them safe." And the other thing is to inform Sir Yorm that Princess Pamela is not here, so they can follow her to the other town." They agreed. "The one who challenged you is the one who paid your people here. Shaji, I trust you; please survive, okay?" Alva and the captives they had bought left the mansion and headed to their hideout. Meanwhile, Shaji was taken to a room that resembled a battleground, where the one who challenged them was waiting. The mansion's boss himself brought him there and said, "You seem new here. The smell of abbadons is unique, enviable. Sir, while you're inside, this door won't open until you've defeated your opponent. Good luck."

Shaji entered the massive door. On the other side, a tall, strong man emerged with a powerful Diablo Presencia. Shaji was surprised, and when he looked at his hand, it burned, causing him pain because this was the enemy's most potent aura. However, Shaji was not frightened yet. He also released a Diablo Presencia. Due to his seriousness, he was able to unleash the aura of Abbadon. The enemy examined his hand and body as his bones gradually separated from his flesh. Suddenly, he lunged at Shaji with his sword drawn. Shaji immediately blocked it, and they returned to their positions. Shaji said, "You are so rude. You're the one who challenged me. You haven't even introduced yourself yet.
