Dawn
Before the sun even peeked over the horizon, Kiba was already awake. The cool air of the Inuzuka compound carried the scent of damp earth, the distant howls of ninken echoing through the training grounds. He sat cross-legged on his futon, eyes closed, chakra pulsing faintly beneath his skin. Meditation had become second nature by now. He wasn't just refining his control—he was studying the ebb and flow of his own chakra network, looking for ways to push past his natural limits.
Three years old. His body was still small, but the gap between him and other children his age was undeniable. He was sharper, stronger, faster.
After a quiet moment, he released a slow breath and stood. His muscles burned slightly, a reminder of yesterday's training. He welcomed the feeling. Pain meant progress.
He moved into light physical exercises first—push-ups, squats, stretches. His body was still developing, but strengthening his foundation was crucial if he ever wanted to properly utilize his transformation abilities without tearing himself apart. He still remembered that first attempt—bones cracking, muscles seizing up, his entire body screaming in protest. He hadn't tried again since. Not until he was ready.
And that's what today was about.
Getting ready.
The Inuzuka compound started early. The scent of damp earth lingered in the cool air, and distant howls echoed through the training grounds.
Kiba was already up, rolling his shoulders as he stretched. His body ached from yesterday's training, but he welcomed the pain. It meant progress.
He took a deep breath, letting his sharpened senses spread out. The compound was mostly quiet-most of the clan still sleeping -but one presence was already waiting for him.
Tsume.
"You're late," Tsume said.
Kiba frowned. "The sun's not even up."
Tsume snorted. "And? The enemy isn't going to wait until you're well-rested."
Kiba rolled his eyes but didn't argue. He knew better.
Tsume crouched low, muscles tensed.
"We're going full contact today. You can take a hit, so I expect you to hit back."
Kiba smirked. "No holding back?"
"Wouldn't dream of it," Tsume replied.
She disappeared.
Kiba barely had time to react before a crushing force slammed into his ribs, sending him skidding across the dirt. He barely managed to roll to his feet before another strike came-this time, a sweeping kick aimed at his legs.
He jumped, but Tsume anticipated it. She grabbed his ankle mid-air and slammed him into the ground.
The world spun.
Pain shot through his body, but he gritted his teeth, ignoring it. He forced his muscles to respond, twisting to his feet just as Tsume lunged again.
This time, he moved with her.
He ducked low, avoiding her fist, then sprang forward, swiping at her ribs with sharpened claws. She pivoted just in time, dodging by a hair's breadth.
A glint of approval flashed in her eyes.
"Better," she admitted. "But still not good enough."
Then she was behind him.
Her palm slammed into his back, and Kiba hit the dirt-again.
Tsume stood over him, hands on her hips. "You fight too clean."
Kiba groaned, spitting out a mouthful of dirt. "I'm literally covered in mud and blood right now."
Not what I meant," she said. "You still hesitate. A real enemy won't give you time to think. They'll rip your throat out the second you pause."
Kiba rolled onto his back, chest rising and falling. "Yeah? And what about you? You paused to tell me all that. If I had a kunai, I could've stabbed you in the ankle."
Tsume smirked. "If you had a kunai, I would've already ripped your arm off."
Kiba sighed. "Fair point."
She extended a hand, pulling him to his feet. "Again."
Morning
The real challenge came after combat training. Elemental training.
He had figured it out when he was barely a year old, back when his chakra first started manifesting. The moment he could sense it—really sense it—he knew something was off. Yin, Bone, and Steel. It took him a while to understand why, but when the realization hit, it all made sense.
Shinobi Online.
In the game, elemental affinities weren't just assigned randomly—you had to spin for them. He remembered spending hours theory-crafting, calculating odds, and spending in-game currency on rolls. His final build had been a mix of raw brute strength, regeneration, and unique elements he never even trained because he saw no point in them at the time.
He had never expected them to carry over into this world.
And yet, here he was. Yin. Bone. Steel. Three elements the Inuzuka had never possessed, now fused into his very being.
He started small.Steel Release was a combination of Earth and Yin chakra. He had no idea how to form complex weapons yet, but he could start with something simple. Wires.
Sitting in a quiet clearing, he focused his chakra, trying to force it into something tangible. Steel was solid, durable, yet flexible in the right conditions. He envisioned a thin strand forming at his fingertips, something sharp, something strong—
Nothing.
Minutes passed. Then an hour. Sweat dripped down his brow as frustration built.
"Come on…" he muttered.
Steel was about reinforcement. About density. He shifted his approach, focusing on hardening the chakra in his hands before stretching it outward, thinning it, weaving it—
A faint shimmer.
A single thread of steel glinted in the morning light before fading. It was small. Almost nothing. But it was progress.
He exhaled, determination burning in his chest.
By mid-afternoon, he was at the hospital, where Hana was already waiting for him.
She leaned against a counter, arms crossed, an amused smirk on her lips.
"You look like hell," she said.
Kiba rolled his shoulders, wincing. "Mom happened."
Hana chuckled. "Yeah, sounds about right. You still conscious?"
"Barely."
"Good enough." She pushed off the counter, handing him a scroll. "Today, we're focusing on cell stimulation. Medical ninjutsu isn't just about healing-it's about control. You mess up, and instead of fixing an injury, you'll make it worse."
She activated her chakra, a faint green glow forming over her palm. "Like this. Try it."
Kiba mimicked her movements, letting his chakra gather in his fingertips. He concentrated-
A sharp zap shot through his hand.
He twitched violently, nearly punching himself in the face.
Hana burst out laughing.
Kiba scowled, shaking out his hand. "Okay. That sucked."
Hana was still grinning. "You just electrocuted yourself. That's impressive in its own way."
He shot her a glare. "Oh yeah? Let's see you try Steel Release without snapping your own fingers off."
Hana smirked. "Nah, I think I'll pass."
They spent the next few hours working on healing techniques. Hana was patient, guiding him through the motions, occasionally teasing him when he messed up.
After a while, Kiba started to get it. His chakra control smoothed out, and he managed to heal a minor scratch without electrocuting himself.
As they left the hospital, Hana ruffled his hair. "Not bad, kid."
Kiba swatted her hand away. " I'm not a kid."
"You're three."
"Almost four."
She grinned. "That's still three."
Kiba rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but smile.
"Same time tomorrow?" she asked.
Kiba stretched, cracking his neck. "Yeah. I'll be better by then."
Hana raised an eyebrow. "Confident."
"Realistic."
She smirked. "We'll see."
As she walked off, Kiba exhaled, stretching his sore limbs.
What brutal day.
A/N: if you have any ability ideas that he could do then please tell me I would love to add some craz techniques with these three elements even though I already have some ideas but I would love to hear yours bye
