In the past, what Serenity loved most about Dane was his proud disdain for money as a scholarship student.

But now, money is all Dane cares about.

It's said that he yelled at Serenity:

"What? You're just a fake heiress! All this time, you've been nothing but a fraud. Now you're as poor as I am. Why would I want anything to do with you? Are you out of your mind?"

"I must have been blind to get involved with a married fake like you!"

Later on, Dane even brought his parents to live with them.

Serenity, once a pampered young lady I used to spoil, is now reportedly spending her days heavily pregnant, waiting on Dane's family hand and foot.

One can only imagine what Serenity's life is like now.

But that's not even the worst of it.

The most heartbreaking part is that Serenity finally learned about Dane's illustrious period abroad.

Dane had claimed he was constantly thinking of Serenity while he was overseas.

He said he had never dated anyone, always waiting for Serenity.
