"Melody, don't be afraid. I'm here. Tell me, what can you see now? What can you hear? Okay?" Serena stroked my back gently.


I laughed inwardly. I dare say, but are you ready to hear it?


"Serena, I think I can see Garrison. He's still talking to me." As I spoke, I shrank back a bit, looking around uneasily.


Serena and Damien's faces changed drastically. It was the symptom they wanted, but it seemed a bit different.


"What nonsense are you talking about? Garrison's been gone for so long. Estrella, this is just caused by your nervous breakdown. Come back to the hospital with me, I'll help you get treatment, okay?" Serena said dismissively.


"Melody, you've been suffering from depression since the year your aunt and uncle passed away. Then Garrison's departure was too big a blow for you, that's why you're having these hallucinations. It's okay, just come to the hospital with me."


"Alright, let's go to the hospital then." I pretended to be eager to leave with Serena.
