Chapter 9

Vivienne's back slammed against the wall, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.

Clutching her aching chest, she glared at Gideon with bloodshot eyes.

"You hit me because of her!"

"Gideon, you fickle son of a bitch, I hope you rot in hell!"

Vivienne sprang to her feet with a sudden burst of energy.

She snatched up a nearby sculpture and smashed it on the ground.

But she wasn't done yet. Like a woman possessed, she tore through the gallery.

Running wild, she shattered every sculpture in her path.

"You want to have an exhibition?"

"I'll destroy everything! Let's see what you'll use for your show now!"

Gideon's heart felt as shattered as the sculptures strewn across the floor.

He rushed towards Vivienne, trying to stop her rampage.

But Vivienne was too far gone in her rage.

She grabbed a sharp piece of stone and began swinging it wildly at Gideon.

As she approached the miniature clay figurine, Gideon, without a moment's hesitation, lunged forward to snatch it away.
