Oh my GOD!!!! Sophia Lee shouted, after turning off the alarm, it seems it has been ringing for a few hours, and she woke up late this morning.
The worst part was she had an interview that morning and was late. "I have to hurry up, or I'll miss this opportunity," she thought to herself.
She hurried to the bathroom, brushing her teeth, then took her bath. She rushed out of the bathroom, and in the process, she slipped and was about to fall, but luckily, she grabbed the door handle quickly.
She went to her wardrobe, and the moment she got there, she suddenly screamed, "Ahhhh!! I didn't pick any of my clothes to wear today!!" Thankfully, I always ironed my clothes.
She thought to herself, and then she chose a crisp white blouse and a very tailored black pantsuit.
Then she combed her blonde hair, styling it into loose, effortless waves cascading down her back, framing her heart-shaped face with a radiant glow.
She stood in front of the mirror, smoothing her dress; her eyes looked at the confident woman in the mirror who was staring back at her.
She whispered, "Today, I'm going to nail this job," and then ran out of the door, locked it, and stopped a taxi. She didn't even have time for breakfast; well, i would get something to eat at the restaurant , she thought to herself.
As the taxi started moving, Sophia looked out the window to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Thinking, she couldn't help but get excited, feeling how her life was going to change after getting this job.
After 35 minutes of driving, the taxi finally stopped in front of a very majestic building, with a banner reading "Grey Foundation" mounted in front.
The moment Sophia Lee stepped out of the taxi, her 5'9" frame commanded attention. Every single guy on the roadside couldn't keep their eyes off her; she was simply too beautiful, with a body height and frame like that of a model. Sophia was stunning. Even her own gender wasn't immune to her beauty; this was a testament to Sophia's beauty.
As she approached the massive, towering skyscraper of the Grey Foundation Company, a feeling of anticipation boosted her confident and determined step.
She began to breathe deeply, trying to calm down and prepare for what lay ahead. Her dress fitted perfectly, and seamlessly tailored; she bloomed with a smile as she stepped inside.
At 22, equipped with a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering, Sophia was ready to challenge the obstacles ahead.
"This floor is so shiny, and these windows? Oh my goodness, they're too big and wide," she whispered to herself. The place had an aura of luxury, that Sophia couldn't phantom.
A man sitting at the front desk guided her to take a seat; after sitting, Sophia began to observe the activity around her, patiently waiting.
After a few minutes - which felt like hours to her - a well-dressed, suited lady appeared to escort Sophia upstairs, holding a folder in her hand.
"This way, Miss Sophia," the woman said with a professional smile. As Sophia followed the lady, they passed a room with a transparent glass wall; there was a meeting going on inside, with seven men dressed in tailored black suits attending that meeting.
But that's not what caught Sophia's attention; it was a man, and she couldn't help but turn to him.
Sophia's eyes widened as she shifted to the man, but she couldn't see his face because he had his back facing her; however, his frame was around 6'5", so tall, and his body looked athletic.
The man, as if feeling someone watching him, turned to look at her. As soon as their eyes met, Sophia gaped. The man she saw seeing was just too damn good-looking; wait, no, that was simply an understatement.
The man she was seeing was a thousand times more handsome than any celebrity she had ever seen in her life.
He was tall, with crystal black hair that looked like it had been combed by his fingers; he had a strong, defined jawline it was simply perfection to her.
It was too good to be true, and she had never been impressed by a man's beauty before. How could a human man be as beautiful and stunning? Was this the rumored Alexander Grey of the Grey Foundation? she asked herself.
But this stunning being was looking at her like prey, as if he wanted to devour her, making her want to run instinctively.
"That's Mr. Alexander Grey, CEO of the Grey Foundation," said the lady leading her, her eyes looking at Sophia with amusement. Then she said, "Don't worry, you'll get to see him more often once you get the job.
