Prologue

On a faithful sunny day at the playground. The little girl - Maria was eating some candy when she spotted someone lonely. Looking solemn, while other kids are playing. She decided to slowly walk towards him. He looks really sad, maybe this well cheer him up?

A little boy was sitting alone while other kids are playing, but a cute little girl with curly hair approached him. She was fair, a little chubby, she was smiling at him. Her eyes are brown, sparkling under the sunlight. Her small hands was reaching out to him.

She looks so adorable, is she handling me a lollipop?

"H-hello, you were alone here so I decided to come over. Do you want to go play at the swing? I have a candy, you look sad maybe this well make you feel better?" She said stuttering a little with her cute child voice, shoving the lollipop into his hands.

"I'm new to this town, and I haven't really made friends." He scratched his head, giving her a shy smile.

"What is your name? I can be your friend, and we can play together. I may look frail but I'm not."

"My name is Edward, what's your name?" He extended his hands, waiting for her to take it.

"Just call me Ria," she replied with a bashful smile, and she takes his hand.

He just stared at her cute face, her chubby cheeks faintly flushed. Edward decided to take keep the candy so pocketed it, while his right hand is holding her small hands firmly. The two children walk towards the swing, the first time he was happy while playing with someone. The first friend he have, and she's really cute.

After playing at the swing, he took off his jade necklac and gave it to her. "Take this and always wear it so when we will meet again, I will recognize you instantly." He said and put on the necklace around her neck.

Maria, with her teary eyes, looking so pitiful. She took of her bracelet. "This is for you as well, I hope to meet you in the future." She handed him her precious bracelet, he happily accepts it and wears it after receiving. They embraced each other, and she made a bold movement, she kisses his cheeks and bid goodbye to him, hoping to see each other someday.

"Don't forget about me!" Edward shouted at her from a distant as he watch her get in on a porsche.
