Trish had been worried sick. I had been brought back to the house, a cold, lifeless body that was not breathing.

That was the second time she had seen me unconscious and not breathing so it was understandable.

She had been in the house the whole time, but she had a rough idea of what had happened at the edge of town. Everyone was talking about it so it would be weird if she knew nothing.

A certain number of people had been put in the holding center, the women from the isolation center were also put in holding. The village chief was in his ice prison and was thought to not need a prison, he was placed in the town square.

When the holding center was mentioned, I wondered about the men I had frozen over a week ago.

But then I was told they they had been unfrozen that same night. Same with the people I had frozen over at the battle site. They were unfrozen.
