When I opened my eyes, everything hurt, most especially my head, it felt like it had been slammed against a wall, and maybe it had.

I blinked against the bright light that seemed to want to blind me, trying to adjust my eyesight to it. I looked around for a bit and I realized two things, maybe three.

One, I was definitely kidnapped but they did not see me enough as a threat to actually trip me up, which meant I could not move anyhow.

Two, I was definitely not at my house anymore but then again, I guessed that was kind of predictable.

I mean, what kind of kidnapper would keep the kidnapped at their own house.

The guy who had been kidnapped with me, I think he said his name was Kashar. Anyways, this guy was still knocked out, he stirred just as I turned to look at him.
