Prologue: The Child Born Stronger Than the Gods

In the grand city of Luminaria, within the heart of the noble Luminous family's estate, a child was born—Frank Luminous. His birth was unremarkable, at least to the world. But to the gods, it was a calamity.

The moment he took his first breath, the skies darkened, and the celestial realm trembled. The Supreme God, ruler of all deities, felt an unbearable weight pressing down upon existence itself.

Something had changed.

The fabric of reality twisted, and the concept of "death" itself flickered. The flow of time staggered as if the universe had briefly forgotten its own laws. The gods, who had existed since the beginning of time, felt a primal fear they had never known.

And yet, in the mortal realm, none of this was visible.

The Luminous family celebrated the birth of their heir, unaware that their newborn child had already surpassed the strongest beings in the universe.

A Monster in the Form of a Baby

Frank did not cry.

Most newborns entered the world screaming, desperate for air. But Frank simply breathed, as if he had been alive for eternity.

The midwife hesitated as she held him, an unshakable feeling of dread washing over her. The child's golden eyes gleamed, sharp and knowing—far too knowing for an infant.

Duke Luminous, one of the most powerful nobles in the empire, took his son in his arms and smiled.

"A fine heir," he declared, completely unaware that he held the most dangerous existence in creation.

The moment Frank opened his eyes, reality itself adjusted to accommodate him.

The Gods' Desperate Struggle

Far beyond the mortal world, in the divine realm, the Supreme God stood at the peak of his golden palace, his hands trembling.

"This... This is impossible."

For the first time since the dawn of time, the Supreme God felt fear. Not just any fear—absolute terror.

He turned to the pantheon of gods who had gathered before him, their divine forms flickering unsteadily. Even the most powerful war gods and primordial deities could feel it.

Something had been born into the world.

Something that should not exist.

The Supreme God clenched his fist. "Erase him."

A decree was issued. Every god, every celestial being, every force that maintained the balance of the universe focused their power on removing this newborn child from existence.

But nothing happened.

Frank Luminous remained.

Untouched.

Unaffected.

Unafraid.

The Supreme God's expression twisted in horror.

"He exists... beyond our authority."

For the first time in history, a mortal had been born whom the gods could not erase.

The One Who Stands Beyond Fate

Frank Luminous grew up as an ordinary child—or so it seemed. He never trained, never studied swordsmanship, never cultivated magic.

Yet, from the moment of his birth, he was invincible.

Blades shattered before they could touch him.

Curses failed before they could take effect.

Even time itself refused to move against him.

The world remained oblivious. The gods despaired.

Frank, however, did not care.

At the age of one, he was already the most powerful being in existence. But instead of conquering the world, instead of pursuing power, he simply—

Slept.

A single thought echoed across the divine realm.

"Why... does he not care?"

The strongest existence had no ambitions, no desires, no need for conquest.

He only wanted to read books, eat good food, and sleep.

And so, history would remember him as—

"The Lazy Lord."

A title that would one day shake the world to its core.
