Richard arrived at Raiden Raymond's house, his friend's residence a welcome sight after the long journey. As he entered, Raiden greeted him with a mixture of concern and curiosity.
"That, was hilarious," Richard said, his voice laced with fear.
Raiden's eyes narrowed. "What's wrong, Richie?"
Richard's gaze fell upon a letter on the table. "Huh? A letter? Who sent me this?"
Raiden shrugged. "I didn't send it. Must be someone else."
Richard's eyes scanned the letter, his brow furrowed in concentration. "This is written in Shadowian script...lemme try to read it."
As Richard deciphered the letter, his expression turned from curiosity to shock. "You Monster! You did what to Alteria?"
Raiden's eyes widened in alarm. "Calm down, Richie, you'll destroy my house."
Richard's anger boiled over, but Raiden's words barely registered. "Sorr- No Sorry For You! STUPID....-"
Raiden's voice rose, trying to calm Richard down. "SHUT U-"
Richard's retort was swift. "Nah, hell nah."
Just then, Raiden spotted another letter. "I found another letter."
Richard's eyes locked onto the letter. "Read it."
Raiden's voice trembled as he read the letter aloud. The words were incomprehensible, but the tone was unmistakable - a threat, a warning, or perhaps something more sinister.
Richard's face set in determination. "Agreed. We need to head forward."
Raiden nodded, but Richard's next words gave him pause. "At this much coldy, freezy, and snowy night? What do you think I am? A ROBOT?"
Raiden chuckled, relieved to break the tension. "I have a better carriage. Not like your horse-drawn carriage."
Richard's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Show me!"
Raiden proudly presented the HighFire Carriage, a vehicle that defied explanation. Richard's eyes widened as he took in the strange contraption.
"Done?" Richard asked, his voice laced with skepticism.
Raiden's grin was infectious. "Hell Yeah!"
As they set off into the night, Richard's thoughts turned to the mysterious letters and the secrets they held. The journey ahead would be fraught with danger, but with Raiden by his side, Richard felt a sense of determination wash over him.
Their destination was the center of Ulzeimer, a place shrouded in mystery. As they arrived, Richard's eyes scanned the unfamiliar surroundings. A salesman approached, his words dripping with an otherworldly accent.
"Welcome to the castle, would you like to play a game?"
Richard's response was wary. "You ain't the recruiter from Squid Game. There is no Squid Game here."
The salesman's confusion was palpable. "HUH? What is 'SQUID GAME'?"
Richard's smile was enigmatic. "You'll never know."
As they entered the castle, a chill ran down Richard's spine. The air was thick with tension, and the whispers of the castle's inhabitants sent shivers down his spine.
"Cold-hearted people from snowy region has appeared!"
Richard's eyes met Raiden's, a silent understanding passing between them.
"Kill'em all, do not show mercy!"
Richard's voice was low, his words barely audible. "Wait, what?"
The castle's inhabitants closed in, their eyes blazing with hostility. Richard's hand instinctively went to his sword, his heart pounding in anticipation.
"You're Dead!"
The chapter ended with Richard's fate hanging in the balance, the castle's inhabitants closing in for the kill.
