A week had passed since Samantha and Andre first meeting, a formal introduction arranged by their parents. The encounter had been polite but unremarkable, at least for Samantha. For Andre, however, the meeting had been overshadowed by a fleeting moment when Kimberly, had accidentally bumped into him. Her beauty had left a lasting impression on him, and he found himself thinking about her more than he cared to admit.
Lucy, had decided to arrange a picnic for the children from the local orphanage. It was a charitable gesture, but it also served another purpose. Lucy hoped that the relaxed setting would help Samantha and Andre grow closer. She instructed Samantha to invite Andre to the picnic, emphasizing the importance of building a connection with him.
On the day of the picnic, Lucy gave Kimberly, a stern warning to always obey Samantha's commands. Kimberly, who had been with the family since she was ten, had no choice but to comply.
Samantha and Kimberly, accompanied by bodyguards, picked up the children from the orphanage and headed to the park.
The day was bright and sunny, perfect for a picnic. The children ran around, laughing and playing, while Samantha supervised from a distance, giving orders to Kimberly.
Andre arrived later, his heart skipping a beat when he saw Kimberly again. She was fetching something from the car for Samantha when he approached her. "The girl that bumped into me last week, right?" he said, trying to start a conversation.
Before Kimberly could respond, Samantha spotted Andre and ran towards him. "Andre! I'm so glad you could make it," she exclaimed, ignoring Kimberly. "You, slave, go and get what I asked you to get," she snapped at Kimberly.
Kimberly hurried to the car, her heart heavy with the weight of her servitude. Andre watched her go, feeling a pang of guilt and helplessness. Samantha seized the opportunity to speak ill of Kimberly. "She's just a slave," she said dismissively. "You shouldn't waste your time on her."
Andre felt a surge of anger but kept his emotions in check. He didn't want to reveal his feelings for Kimberly, knowing it would only put her in more danger.
As the children played in the park, Kimberly took a moment to herself and wandered into a secluded part of the park. She needed a break from Samantha's constant demands. Unbeknownst to her, an evil vampire lurked nearby, searching for fresh human blood.
The vampire emerged from the shadows, his eyes gleaming with hunger. Kimberly froze in fear, realizing she was defenseless without her werewolf powers. She screamed for help as the vampire lunged at her.
Out of nowhere, Andre appeared, his eyes blazing with an intensity he didn't understand. He fought the vampire with a strength and agility that surprised even him. The vampire, injured and outmatched, fled into the darkness.
Andre helped Kimberly to her feet, his heart pounding. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.
Kimberly nodded, still shaken. "Thank you," she whispered. "You saved my life."
As they made their way back to the park, Samantha saw them together and felt a surge of jealousy. She decided then and there to tell her mother that Kimberly was throwing herself at Andre, knowing that Lucy would punish Kimberly severely.
When they returned home, Samantha wasted no time in reporting to her mother. "Mother, Kimberly was flirting with Andre," she lied, her voice dripping with malice.
Kimberly tried to defend herself. "A vampire attacked me, and Andre saved me," she explained, her voice trembling. "I wasn't flirting with him."
Lucy's eyes narrowed. "A vampire? After all these years?" she scoffed. "Do you expect me to believe that?"
"It's true," Kimberly insisted. "He came out of nowhere and attacked me."
Lucy shook her head. "Enough of your lies. You will be punished for your insolence."
Kimberly's heart sank as she realized there was no convincing Lucy. She braced herself for the punishment that was sure to come.
As Kimberly endured her punishment, she couldn't help but think about her mother and the life she had lost. She longed to regain her werewolf powers and her freedom, but she knew it was a distant dream. For now, she had to endure and survive.
Andre, on the other hand, was left with more questions than answers. How had he managed to fight off the vampire? What was it about Kimberly that drew him to her so strongly? He knew he had to find out more about his own past and the secrets that lay hidden within him.
Samantha, oblivious to the turmoil she had caused, continued to pursue Andre, determined to win his affection. But deep down, she knew that something was changing.
