It had been four days since her period started, and honestly? Nothing much had happened in that timeframe.
Angel spent most of the time either sleeping or eating. Gaming was still a no-go—her period cramps made sure of that.
But now, four days had passed, and she finally felt better. No more pain in her stomach.
"Finally."
She stretched her arms up, her shirt riding up slightly, exposing a bit of her stomach as she yawned.
「Well, now that I'm feeling fine… what should I do?」
She fell into deep thought. Even now, her parents hadn't forced her to go back to school (again).
Life continued as she knew it.
And yet… even though she'd been doing the same things as always, now that she was in a new body, Angel couldn't help but feel it'd be a waste if she didn't do something significant with her life.
Not that she really cared. She was happy with how things were. But if she were to turn her life into a novel? It'd be so boring.
Just a day in the life of a NEET: wake up, eat breakfast, play video games, get horny, maybe play with herself, play video games some more. Who'd stick around for a premise like that?
「Speaking of writing… I haven't made any progress on that shit.」
Angel clicked her tongue and shut her eyes.
Should she actually try writing for a change?
She had written plenty of light novels before, but the thought of churning out ten or more chapters a week? Absurd.
With a sigh, she pulled out her phone and opened her notes app.
「How should I even begin this?」
Since the light novel was based on her own life, she didn't need to do any research, right? All she needed was a good title.
「'My Life'? No, that sucks… How about 'My Bizarre World'? Nah, that sounds like a JoJo ripoff.」
She crossed her arms.
"Yup, this isn't going anywhere."
Grinning, she shut the notes app and strolled to the living room.
Her parents weren't home again. And no, that's totally not the writer's fault, okay?!
They were just really busy with work!
Not that she minded. This was one of the things she loved about being a NEET—having the whole house to herself.
Chores?
Nah.
She didn't do chores.
Not until her mom nagged her about it. Until then, she was the queen around here~
Angel looked around. Right now, she could be playing video games—but that was getting boring.
She glanced at herself and hmm, her hair was as long as ever, still silky thanks to her meticulous maintenance. She was wearing a plain t-shirt and her good old black shorts.
「Speaking of shorts, maybe I should go buy some more clothes?」
Her taste was plain, again. Aside from her sundress, she didn't own much in the way of feminine clothing. Maybe she should check out the ukay-ukay later? Or maybe tomorrow? See if she could find anything that suited her fancy—maybe even barter a little?
Angel crossed her arms and nodded, smiling at her own idea. But then she remembered—
「Right, I'm internet famous…」
She pulled out her phone and opened Facebook. Yup, the 5K friend requests were still there.
"Well, fuck me. That's another unresolved issue."
Angel clicked her tongue. Would this even become a problem? Sure, she might gain stalkers, but what's the worst that could actually happen?
She was pretty ignorant of local crime rates, so she wouldn't know much about potential dangers. But she had been vigilant up until now...
「In any case, I should maybe talk to Ma. Maybe she'll accompany me.」
Angel nodded to herself.
Having fully decided on her next move, she made her way to the kitchen and grabbed some pancit canton.
Angel didn't know how to cook anything else. So, pancit canton was her go-to—specifically, the kalamansi flavor.
All you had to do was drop the noodles into boiling water, wait a few minutes, strain them, then plate them and add the seasonings.
And just like that, Angel had her afternoon snack.
She checked her phone. 3 PM. At this time, she would usually still be in her room, playing video games. But now? Here she was, eating.
Her thoughts drifted back to her earlier, unfinished musings—yes, the issues. First of all, her fame.
Somehow, Angel was famous on the internet for her looks. But her beauty wasn't really her priority.
She didn't want to be an artist. Didn't want to show up on TV. If anything, she wanted to stay anonymous—at least as a writer. And truthfully? She didn't know a damn thing about show business, so she'd rather just not.
As for being a social media influencer?
「Isn't being a writer considered one?」
Her eyebrows lowered as she ate. Well, in a sense… if they had a large following.
But Angel didn't have that. Sure, she had those 5K friend requests, but she doubted they were adding her for her writing.
Finishing her food, she went back to the kitchen and hastily washed her plate and utensils, not even double-checking if she rinsed them properly.
She glanced at the clock. Still an hour before her parents get back.
Her eyes drifted toward the living room—dust and dirt everywhere. But… too lazy to clean that shit up now.
The kitchen was clean, at least. Minus some dish soap residue.
「Since I still have an hour… why don't I have some fun?」
It had been a while since Angel tried that.
She glanced at her own chest, remembering the soft sensation of it, the smoothness of her body…
「Ack, I can't take it anymore… I'm going in! Maybe I should use a mirror this time?」
Her ears burned red as she hurried to her room—once again, exploring what her body had to offer.
