After Sabre and his army of 2,000 soldiers laid siege to the Demon cult's base, all remaining Demon cult soldiers came out. Despite the long-range mages trying to inflict as much damage as possible on the Klena cult, they couldn't easily overcome the 2,000 soldiers. When Sabre approached the base, he called on the Demon cult to surrender. Under Norfides' leadership, the Demon cult refused. Instead of sending all his soldiers to attack the 500-strong force, Sabre chose to make a deal. Norfides would face Sabre in combat. Reluctantly, Norfides stepped forward to face Sabre. The 2,500 soldiers watched the battle between Sabre and Norfides. Sabre gave strict orders to his soldiers not to intervene, and Norfides did the same. Both commanders drew their swords, and the battle began with the sound of a bell. Both sides were very cautious of each other's moves. Neither wanted to use their powers in front of 2,500 people, so they fought solely with their swords. Their strikes were so powerful that the metal dust from their swords obscured the soldiers' vision. The first magical move came from Norfides. Using his Geniga Slash at a moment Sabre didn't expect, Norfides knocked Sabre's sword to the ground. Norfides quickly maneuvered, but Sabre briefly stopped time to intimidate Norfides.
While the battle raged on, Hanken and Xers stayed behind at the clan base, searching for Norfides' father Norflay's sealing device. With this device, they could seal Sabre's time-slowing ability and ensure Norfides' victory.
Sabre and Norfides fought so intensely that the battle lasted an hour. Both commanders retreated to rest. Xers and Hanken had caught Sabre's attention in the previous battle. On his orders, Sabre sent a few soldiers into the clan base. Both sides returned to the battlefield and resumed fighting. Sabre's goal was to have Xers and Hanken killed and then use all his powers to eliminate the Demon cult. That's why he continued fighting without using his magical abilities.
Norfides, on the other hand, aimed to use his magical powers sparingly to surprise Sabre and then defeat him with a single Hayzen.
When the soldiers entered the clan base, they found it in complete disarray. Hearing the noise from downstairs, Xers and Hanken hid and waited for the soldiers to go upstairs. The soldiers searched every corner for Xers and Hanken.
Meanwhile, the battle between Sabre and Norfides grew even fiercer. Both sides began using Geniga techniques, causing destruction around them.
The soldiers split into two groups and went upstairs. Xers and Hanken saw both soldiers. Xers grabbed a dagger from the ground and stabbed one soldier. Hanken threw an arrow he found at the other soldier. After defeating both, they headed downstairs. However, the soldiers had a plan. They only needed to locate Sabre's position. They relayed the noise to Sabre, and he played his first card.
Sabre slowed down time. Norfides was shocked. Slowly raising his sword, Norfides dodged Sabre's attack. Time sped up again. Norfides and Sabre began unleashing Geniga techniques. One of these techniques hit the clan base, shattering the stairs. At that moment, Xers and Hanken, who were descending the stairs, were buried under the rubble. Norfides was distracted. Seizing the opportunity, Sabre attacked Norfides. His sword grazed Norfides' stomach, leaving a cut and tearing his clothes. In response, Norfides used his Hayzen: "Black Hayzen!" The area was engulfed in mist. Sabre was blinded. Norfides' Hayzen allowed him to maneuver faster within the mist. Moving swiftly, Norfides cut Sabre's arm. In response, Sabre slowed down time: "Sakuran Kriega!" Within the Hayzen, their speeds were balanced. However, Sabre could only move ten times at this speed, so he had to be very careful with his actions. His first move was to counter Norfides' attack. His second move was to use Geniga Slash. His third move was to swing his sword, but it missed Norfides. His fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth moves were used to parry attacks. Sabre used his last two moves cleverly. His ninth move feinted to the right, and his tenth move swung his sword to the left, cutting part of Norfides' throat. Time sped up again. Norfides collapsed in pain, and his Hayzen deactivated. The mist cleared, and all the soldiers stared at Norfides' lifeless body. No one understood what had happened except Sabre and Norfides. Sabre then ordered, "Do not return until the entire Demon cult is destroyed!" The battlefield was drenched in blood. The 2,000-strong Klena army annihilated the 500-strong Demon army. In the midst of the battle, Hanken and Xers emerged from the rubble. They couldn't find the sealing device. Sabre used a Geniga technique to completely destroy the clan base, rendering the sealing device irrecoverable. Hanken and Xers couldn't believe what they saw. They began attacking the Klena soldiers amidst the screams. Sabre saw them. He slowed down time and gutted Xers. He kicked Hanken, breaking his leg. The Demon army was completely crushed. The Demon cult in other regions had already begun to disband. Sabre left the battlefield and ascended the opposite mountain. Xers' eyes slowly closed as he heard a whisper in his ear:
"Gomerai."
