"Police officer Wu, I had said that my son will never do such a thing; moreover, her mother had died because of the accident, not because of my son!" Xu Jing stated with a cold look.

While hearing them, Lin Yu was dumbfounded. He didn't expect such a thing to happen after he went into a coma.

"I don't want to see them, but I will not allow Lin Yu or Lin Mei to get into this mess!" she stated with an unyielding look.

In response, Lin Zheng shook his head in denial.

"No need; I will handle this. Although I am useless now, I do have some reliable friends who can take care of this," he replied.

Hearing him Xu Jing hesitated a little before nodding in agreement.

"Okay, you can take care of this, but let's wait for a while. The private investigator I hired must be done with gathering evidence against that Zhao Rui, after which, everything is easy to handle," she suggested, her eyes flashing with a cold look.

Even though Zhao Rui ended up getting hospitalized, she didn't think this was enough to atone for the crimes of falsely accusing her son.
