CHAPTER SIX

Adriana's pov:

I breathed out in relief because the way I felt being introduced to the pack member, I felt tense and furious while being introduced to them as the new Luna of the pack. I knew that a lot of them don't find me suitable as their Luna, but I wasn't ready to care about that, I was only determined to face the role I was given by Liam.

I saw Adrian from where I was, so I went to him to show off my new role to oppress him after he failed to kill me. 

I took my step gently and carefully as I was being escorted by the guards and my private maid. I walked majestically, having courage in me that already he would be really helpless when he sees the muscular guards walking with me. 

"Hi, long time no see, it's been a while since we met. What are you doing here?" I asked, looking him directly in the face. He tried ignoring me, but I didn't allow him to. I made him talk and say it directly to me. 

"Why the silence? Aren't you happy to see me? Why are you acting so weird now? What's the problem?" I asked. 

"Well, I'm fine, and thank you for your appreciation, okay" he said, frowning in his face. 

"Why is your face like that? Is everything okay? You are looking at it like we have had some problem in the past. Is there anything like that?" I asked. 

"What do you want from me? If you don't mind the Luna of our great Lycan King I don't have anything to do with you okay please can you leave here" he said? 

"I love the way you now see me not more the slave and the evil witch thank you for that I would have to go see other people now okay, and I also want you to have it in mind that I am not done with you, yet this is the new beginning of my rots in you" I threatened him and Left. 

I felt big in my new role as I could stand in Adrian's face and tell him my mind of what I still have for him and I now know that he would be plotting a wicked plan for me now, planning on how I would be brought down from the special role which Liam has given me the full right to possess. 

I walked back to the palace. I opened the door, heading towards the direction of my room, before I encountered Liam on my way. He stopped me, but I was too shy to look at his face. 

"Where are you coming? From I saw you with a pack leader" he said. I would rather not lie to him because I knew he might chase me out of his life if he finds out that I have ever been lying to me. 

"Yes, I lived in his pack. It was him. My father sold me too. He treated me like a slave," I said. 

"What were you discussing with him?" He asked. 

"Nothing too much, I was just talking about my expression since I left his pack" I answered. 

"I think you are showing off your new role as my Luna," he said, but I kept quiet and allowed him to talk. 

"Well I know you have been wanting to take your revenge on him if you find any slight opportunity to do it, but I would advise you to keep it low for now because you first need to know the weakest point of your enemy before getting it at him, this is not the way to behave okay you don't have to do so to impress him or make him feel jealous it's very wrong by this way I think you are also showing him a way of him getting you okay stop it and do not do it again you can now go" he said. I looked down the whole while he was talking without looking at his face until he finished talking to me. He was about to leave, but I called him back and gave him a warm hug I made sure that my breasts were on his chest I thought me touching him romantically would make me seduce him and by the process we would have sex, but my thoughts were really not as it was he hugged me and left after that. 

"I think he is being really generous, but I really want to have it with him even if it's just once" I muttered and left for my room. I stayed in my room for a few minutes, lying on the bed until I heard a heavy knock. 

"Who's there? And why are you knocking at the door like that?" I said. 

I opened the door and found out that it was Liam. "Is anything the problem? Why are you looking at me so strangely like that?" I asked. 

"What really went between you and Adrian?" He asked. 

"Why the sudden?" He didn't allow me to finish what I was about to say before he interrupted. "I demand you to tell me the truth before you would face my roots" he said shouting. I have never ever seen him in a condition like this since I know him and him acting like this. I think that the matter would be serious. My instincts only told me that Adrian has done something for Liam to believe his lies. 

"I really don't know what you're talking about, please, you are really sounding strange, can you explain what you are talking about?" I said. 

"I wouldn't repeat myself again, what do you have with Adrian?" he said. I wasn't surprised by him calling the name Adrian because I knew that he would be plotting evil against me. 

"I don't have anything to do with him" immediately I said

that he didn't wait for a second and slapped me.
