CHAPTER SEVEN

Adrianna's pov

It was still challenging for me to understand what was going on with me at the moment. I thought I was asleep as I tapped my cheeks to see if I was asleep, but it was reality. 

"What made you slap me this bad? Why are you acting weird now? Really, I have known you to be a good and generous man. I never know that you are this mean and ruthless, what has really come over you, who told you all this who frustrated you to do it" I said as tears rolled down slowly from my cheeks. I asked him several questions, but there was no reply. All he did was leave me there alone.

"Liam I don't know what made you do this, but I would say it to your face that you would surely regret this soon I would get to the button of the matter" I said courageously and left. 

I quickly entered my room, dressed up to go out, but I didn't have anywhere in mind to go. I just wanted to leave the palace. My mind raced in thoughts of where I would start from in this investigation but still, there was no alternative to make, so I just decided to dress and go to no destination. I wore a pink glitching grown and tied a white scarf on my head and followed the back door to go outside. On going to the gate, I noticed that Liam had already placed his soldiers to disallow me from going outside, but this time I would play very stubborn to his orders. 

"Please get the gate opened, I need to go out immediately," I said. I expected them to tell me that the king had already given orders for me not to go out, but they didn't utter a word and never stared at me. 

"What is your problem? Are you all deaf? I just said I need the gate opened to go outside" I said again, but I was still ignored. I then went to the gate to open it myself because I knew If I did so they would find a way of blocking me. The rift between me and the guards continued as I had a plan in my that if I could cause a hell of noise I would be able to attract Liam to come outside from where he is. I continued shouting and screaming until I saw Liam coming out from his chambers. 

"What is really wrong with you? Why can't you allow peace to rain in my palace?" He asked, but I didn't say anything and kept silent. 

"I won't condole any noise from you in this palace again" he said and left before he was stopped by a hard knock on the gate, he gave orders to his guards for the gate to be opened to see who was that when the gate was opened, I looked at him and recognize that it was the town crier. The guard tried holding him back, but the king gave orders for him to come to the chambers. I knew that the town crier may be here because of the rift between me and Liam, so I changed my mind and went back inside through the back door then I hid at one corner to hear all that the town crier was going to tell him. 

"You can have your seat. What brought you here?" Liam asked. 

"My king, it was about the previous message I came here to deliver the previous hour," he said. 

"What about it because I have already confronted her, but there was no positive answer I got from her? I even went as far as slapping her to see if she would still tell me the truth," he said. 

"Ahhh, why would you slap her, there is no essence of slapping it really didn't worth It" the town crier said? 

"Okay, what new are you here for, how is it concerning the previous one?" Liam asked. 

"The news was fake, it wasn't real. I overheard it was plotted by Adrian, a pack leader and I looked into it, and really it was not true," the Town crier said.

I thought of coming out immediately when the town crier talked, but I held myself back and allowed the town crier to finish before I confronted him. They both talked in a long conversation and I also overheard the Town crier saying that Adrian was also planning on bringing war to the pack, so he should be meticulous about his actions. After they talked the Town crier left, so I had the whole opportunity of going to him, but I had a second thought on it and left him to come to me if he was sorry about what he did, so I went back to my room. 

I laid down resting not long after I came in. I had the sound of the door opening, as everywhere was dark. I couldn't recognize who it was, so I asked. "Who is there?" I asked. 

The lights were turned back on by the person, so I saw it was Liam. "Why are you here again, what do you want now? Are you here to beat me up the whole night?" I asked. 

"Well am genuinely sorry for what happened earlier" he said

"Why are you now sorry?" Just go. But I was surprised when he came beside me and started kissing me romantically I think he knows that it was all what I have been wanting so it was my beat opportunity to he used his finger glitching in my pussy and opened his trousers and his dick entering my pussy so we both passed the night together.
