*The battle reaches its peak, the sound of crackling energy could be heard. Every strike, every movement, felt like the weight of desperation, as the ground seemed to shake under the power of the fight. King Niut, was now bruised and bloodied, his body barely holding together by his will. Even in his weakened state, there was no sign of him giving up. His aura burned with a fierce power, and every move he made defy a normal body could do*
*Rain stood opposite him, his own body drenched in sweat. He had fought with everything he had – every ounce of strength, every bit of skill – but it wasn't enough. He could feel the truth deep in his bones: despite everything, he couldn't defeat King Niut just yet*
*Kuro… Haku… Rain thought, frustration beginning to cloud his focus. His mind raced, looking for an answer, a way to break through the King's seemingly infinite resolve. His muscles ached, and he could feel his stamina waning, but he knew this battle wasn't over – he couldn't let it end like this. There was only one thing left to do*
"Kuro, Haku!" Rain calls out the twins, his voice a command born of both desperation and trust.
*At his call, the twins reacted instantly, their connection to Rain had become stronger since they trained together for three months inside their facility's basement. Without saying a word, they moved together. They fought the King once again, but this time, it wasn't just about fighting. It was about giving everything they had to buy Rain the time he needed for his final attack*
*Together, they lunged at King Niut, their movements a blur. Kuro struck from the left, with his yin abilities, while Haku flanked him from the right using yang abilities*
*The twins were being pushed to their limits. Their speed, their precision – everything they had honed over the years – was still not enough to break through the King's defenses. He was an unyielding force of destruction, and even the combined might of Kuro and Haku could only delay the inevitable. Still, they fought on, relentless, never backing down*
"Old man, now!" Kuro grunted through the pain as he scrambled to his feet, his eyes locking with Rain's. He was grasping for air, but his resolve was unwavering. He knew what he had to be done.
*Rain's eyes blazed with determination as he steadied his breath. "It's now or never, he thought. The time had come to end this battle. But the King wasn't going to let them have it easily. He swung his arm violently, knocking Haku to the side, sending him crushing into rubble. He turned on Kuro with a snarl, his eyes filled with rage, and launched a devastating series of blows. The force of each strike caused the ground to quake beneath them, and Kuro could barely keep up with the onslaught*
*But then, amidst the chaos, Rain saw it – the opening he had been waiting for. With Kuro and Haku still distracting the King, there was a moment of vulnerability. The King was exhausted, his movements slower than before. This was Rain's chance. He could feel the power surging within him, boosting all the energy he had channeled from within, the energy of all the sacrifices, all the battles, all the pain of this war, building to a boiling point*
"Kuro! Haku!" Rain shouted, his voice cutting through the noise of the battlefield.
*The twins, despite their injuries, immediately responded, pushing the King back just enough to create s small opening. It wasn't much, but it was enough*
"You don't stand a chance against me!" King Niut unleashed a shockwave as he shouted which makes Kuro and Haku stagger back.
"You don't know that!" Kuro steeled his nerve and shouted back as he binds the King with SHADOW GRASP.
"Kuro! Haku! MOVE!" Rain orders the other two to move out of the way.
*Kuro, Haku, and the King could see the huge light magic power being cast*
*Kuro and Haku noticed that the power was so immense, so they immediately move out of the way*
*King Niut, however, couldn't move in time as his energy was about to reach its limit due to blood loss. Instead he prepared himself as Rain attack shoots towards him.
*With everything he had left, Rain charged forward focusing all his power into one final strike. The world around him seemed to slow, the sound of battle fading into a distant hum as his focus sharpened to a razor's edge. He move with the force of a storm, striking with everything – his anger, his grief, his hope – all poured into that "One and Final strike"*
"RADIANT JUDGEMENT: SOLAR ASCENDANT!" Rain unleashes his ultimate attack towards the King.
*The light of the attack could be seen from all the faction's location, as it illuminates the heavens, as if the Sun decides to come down from it*
*Kuro and Haku stood their ground away from the impact, sweat beading on their foreheads, knowing they were facing an opponent far beyond their capacity but was glad that Rain was there to save them*
*As the light began to fade, Kuro and Haku, stood nearby, could see the aftermath unfold*
*The King's body was in tatters. His torso bore a massive hole, and the right side of his body was missing, including his left leg due to the impact. Only one of his wings remained. Despite the damage, his head and the left side of his chest, down to his hips, were still connected, yet he remained standing. Rain stood before him, holding his second heart in his hand. As rain shattered the heart, King Niut unleashed yet another named attack*
"HEAVEN'S BLACK HOLE!" King Niut shoots out a huge glowing black beam towards Rain's head.
"What!? How many hearts…" Rain couldn't finish his question, as the beam hit him straight in the head. Rain's head was blown away leaving its body behind.
*The attack continues to travel towards Haku. Kuro saw the attack and pushed Haku away to save him. Kuro's body disintegrates as soon as the black beam hit him.
"What? Wha… WAAAAAAAH!" Haku lost his sanity due to the sudden turn of events, and in the process, unleashed something he himself didn't know about. Combined Yin and Yang abilities.
*His eyes glowed white, while his body was radiating an immense black aura. His voice echoed with the sound of multiple voices, as if many spoke at once*
"ECLIPSE OF ETERNITY!" Haku unleashed a massive black-and-white orb, its force so overwhelming that when the King took the hit, his head was obliterated.
*The attack barreled toward the ship, but it couldn't destroy as a shield manifested, protecting it from the blast*
*Though exhausted, Haku was far from finished with his attack on the King. As he spotted the katana once wielded by Norma, he picked it up and noticed the King's final heart beating faintly as it lay on the ground*
*Just as he was about to stab the heart, something – or someone – struck him in the gut, sending him flying through the air before crashing to the ground*
*He heard someone talked, before losing all his consciousness*
"If it wasn't for the King's order, you won't be able to lay a finger on him. Be proud human, you've won today but remember, we will be coming back stronger than ever, and you won't be able to do anything to protect your little planet anymore." One of the Demish General spoke as he picked up the part of the King's body, where he noticed its heart had been.
*Haku could only cry before losing all of his consciousness*
"All that effort was for naught!?" Haku screamed in his mind before everything went black.
-
"The war against Demish pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. Outnumbered and outmatched, they fought with every ounce of their strength, refusing to surrender."
"However, their tenacity produced an aftermath of the battle where the world lay in ruins – a grim testament to the price of victory. Cities who once filled with life were now desolate graveyards of steel and stone. The Silence was suffocating, broken only by the faint, mournful cries of those left behind, the echoes of lives shattered. Families huddled in wreckage, lost in grief, haunted by the memories of fallen heroes. The triumphant cheers of victory had long since faded, replaced by a weighty sorrow that crushed every heart."
"Humanity had fought with everything they had – sacrificing homes, resources, and lives. They had confronted the unimaginable, facing down alien invaders. But the cost was greater than anyone could have ever imagined. Their greatest warriors were gone, and the leaders who had once guided them were no more. The survivors, left to rebuild, now faced a world that could never be the same."
"The Demish may have retreated, but what kind of good would that bring when everything humanity had fought to protect was gone? The land was unrecognizable – ruins where once there had been life, laughter, and dreams. The infrastructure, homes, and cities – all that defined human civilization – were lost, buried under rubble and twisted metal."
"Humans have won the battle, but at what cost? Survival, yes, but at the expense of their way of life, their identity, their purpose. The victory felt hollow, like an echo of something long dead."
"The Demish had retreated, but wasn't defeated. They would return, stronger, and with humanity so fractured, how could they hope to stand against their next onslaught? The future had once seemed so bright now felt like an unreachable dream, clouded by the weight of loss."
"Survivors were left questioning: What was the point of winning if everything was gone? Had the price of survival been too high? The triumph, once so sweet, had turned to ash."
"However, for every ending, there is always a new beginning – a chance to rise from the ashes and forge a new path forward. The survivors, battered and broken, stood at the edge of a shattered world, but in their hearts burned the indomitable will to rebuild. Though everything they once knew was gone, the spark of hope could never be extinguished."
"It was not the victory that defined them, but their ability to adapt, to rise, and to start anew."
