Chapter 18: Young Madam Had Seen Miss Xinya’s True Colors

Anyone who didn't know would think that she was the mistress of the house with how she was talking to the house helpers. Weiwei wondered how she never realized this detail in her previous life. Xinya had been ordering the servants around like the house belonged to her, and she thought she was doing that because they were family.

She never realized that Xinya was practicing for when she managed to separate her and Mo Shian then took her place as the mistress of Josen Garden. How naïve she had been.

"Miss Xinya, the Young Master had ordered that nobody is allowed to disturb the Young Madam before he left." One of the house girls, Ruby informed her.

"What, now he is restricting the people she can see? Is she a prisoner here?" Xinya demanded with an exaggerated high-pitched voice.

"No, the Young Madam hasn't been feeling well, and the Young Master is only worried about her health, that's why he gave that order." Defended Ruby, as she did not want Weiwei to overhear their conversation and misunderstand the Young Master.

Weiwei knew exactly what Xinya was doing. She was saying those things to make her misunderstand Mo Shian's intentions and think that he was limiting her freedom.

If this had been before her rebirth, she would have fallen into Xinya's trap, but she was not the previous Weiwei. She was reborn, and she knew all of Xinya's schemes and her motives. She also knew how much Mo Shian loved her, so she would never take anything Xinya said to heart.

Xinya thought she had succeeded in planting a seed of doubt in Weiwei's mind with her statement. She was sure that all she had to do was push a little and Weiwei would be so heartbroken she would force Mo Shian to divorce her.

All she had to do was wait for the fruits of her labor, then take over the identity of the Young Madam of the Mo family. Weiwei, that stupid slut, got to marry such an outstanding man just because she had the Xia blood flowing down her veins.

Well, she was surnamed Xia too and she was going to take everything that belonged to Weiwei, her title as the Young Miss of the Xia family, her position as Mo Shian's wife, and her inheritance. She would take everything as someone as stupid as that bitch doesn't deserve such good things in life. She deserved to die just like her mother.

"Miss Xinya, the Young Madam is having her breakfast. Please wait for her here and she will join you once she is done," Ruby informed her.

"Why can't I join her at the dining table? Are you looking down on me? You are just a servant and I am Weiwei's sister." Xinya continued with her unreasonable questions.

If it was before, Ruby would be shaking in fear as the Young Madam had always sided with Xinya, but after yesterday, when the Young Madam ordered for Xinya's room to be cleared and said that she wouldn't stay at the house anymore, and soon wouldn't be allowed into Josen Garden, the employees had grown a backbone.

They knew that their Young Madam had seen Miss Xinya's true colors and would no longer be deceived by her innocent white lotus looks.

"The Young Master said that the Young Madam should not be disturbed." Ruby reiterated her previous statement.

While the two of them were having a face-off in the living room, Weiwei walked in.

"Ruby, I'll take it from here; go back to your work." She informed Ruby.

"Yes, Young Madam," Ruby responded before she turned around and headed towards the first floor to clean.

"Xinya, have a seat. What brought you here today?" Weiwei asked as she sat down and invited Xinya to do the same.

Xinya could feel that something was different about Weiwei. If it was before, if Weiwei had heard the maid talking back to her she would have thrown a tantrum to defend her, but now she was acting as if she saw and heard nothing.

She couldn't understand what was wrong.

She was sure that her acting as a loving and concerned sister was perfect, so what had changed? However, even though she was confused, she still responded to Weiwei's question.

"I wanted to invite you to go shopping. You haven't left the house in so many days. There are new arrivals of this season at the mall. Let's go and shop. You also need to get fresh air."

Anyone who heard her would think that she was just concerned for her little sister, but Weiwei knew better. She was aware that Xinya only wanted to go with her so that she could trick her into buying expensive things for her.

This would have worked before, but not now. She wouldn't go anywhere with this two-faced snake.

" I'm sorry, I don't think I can go out. I'm on my period and it's making me uncomfortable." Weiwei gave an excuse to get out of the shopping trip. She didn't want to use Mo Shian's money on the same person who caused his and her death in their previous lives. She wouldn't spend even a single cent on her.

When Xinya heard that Weiwei was on her period she heaved a sigh of relief as she associated her earlier behavior where she did not defend her against the stupid maid with her mood swings.

But she still made a decision that the first thing she would do once she became the mistress of Josen Garden was to fire that unrestrained maid.

"Even if you are on your period you need a little exercise. Also, shopping will lift your mood. So please let's go sister." Xinya tried to convince Weiwei as she put on an innocent smile on her face.

She had seen a new limited edition bag in the mall yesterday. She heard that there are only ten in the world. If she could have that bag, she would be able to show it off at their yearly high school reunion. But since she couldn't afford it, she had to drag this cash cow along to buy it for her.

Weiwei looked at the seemingly innocent smile on Xinya's face that she knew was hiding daggers and felt really stupid. She had been deceived by that smile in her previous life.
