While Xie Tianhu, Huang Zhe, and the others spent the night at the ruins of the Yumen base at the foot of the mountain, Gu Chenhui led Jinshui and his friends to the Bai Family's residence in another part of Baiyu Shan. 


This Bai Family residence was a complex of buildings that had existed for hundreds of years, perched on a wide plain some distance behind the former Yumen headquarters, surrounded by a number of precipitous cliffs and ravines. 


When Baiyu Shan was made the Yumen headquarters, Wu Youwei and his men set up their own building under the mountainside, at that time the Bai Family residence only had a few people living and Yumen members were also forbidden to enter without permission.
