CHAPTER 30: INVITATIONS OUT, DINNER DATE AND A SLEEPY ARRIVAL

At around two o’ clock in the afternoon Rose was at The Everton Bright Company conference room with Alex and Mrs. Cynthia Everson meeting with three of the company’s employed drivers in the conference room. She had already prepared all one hundred envelopes each sealed with the ‘brochure invitations,’ the agenda and schedule for next week’s ceremony. Each envelope had been written the guests’ and their company’s names. The drivers were given specific instructions to personally deliver all the ‘brochure invitations’ and to call Rose, Alex or Mrs. Everson to confirm that the ‘brochure invitations’ were well delivered and received. The good thing was that all the ‘brochure invitations’ were being delivered to guests who were working in the same location so it was going to be very convenient for the drivers.
