Sophia pursed her lips and didn’t answer Ye Luo’s question. Instead, she changed the subject.
"You were on the hot search again a few days ago. They said you had a male model boyfriend. I saw the photos—he’s very handsome."
"What’s the use of being handsome?" Ye Luo sighed. "That model was awful. I wasted two nights having dinner with him."
"Come on, at least you had company, and you’re still complaining?" Sophia chuckled. "I’m all alone. I envy you."
"Just wait. When I return to River City, I’ll introduce you to a boyfriend." Ye Luo laughed. "I guarantee you won’t be single anymore."
"I have high standards. I’m afraid you won’t find someone I like." Sophia smiled. "Alright, I’m done washing up. We’ll meet and talk when you get back."
After hanging up the phone, Sophia turned around and suddenly froze. Her face burned with embarrassment.
She hadn’t noticed Robert standing at the door. And since her phone was on speaker, he had heard everything she just said to Ye Luo.
"Master Miller... um... good morning..." she said awkwardly.
Robert stared at her with an unreadable expression.
"No matter if you still love Steven or not, right now, you are my wife. Your heart can only belong to me."
Sophia felt awkward hearing his words, but she didn’t notice the jealousy in his tone.
"Master Miller, don’t worry. I know my place," she replied.
The next moment, Robert walked up to her and took her small hand in his.
Sophia tensed up and tried to pull away, but Robert only held on tighter.
"Master Miller..." she said nervously.
Robert lowered his head, their breaths mingling as the tension grew between them.
"You have good taste, and so do I. But I will definitely satisfy you," he said, his deep, magnetic voice impossible to resist.
Sophia’s pupils shrank, her heart pounding so fast she struggled to breathe.
"Master Miller..." she whispered.
"Tell me, are you satisfied with me?" Robert asked, his voice still filled with temptation.
Sophia’s mind went blank, and before she realized it, she replied, "Yes, I am satisfied."
Robert’s lips curled into a faint smile, and he finally let go of her hand.
"I’ll be waiting for you in the dining room," he said before walking away.
After he left, Sophia felt her legs go weak.
Did he just flirt with her?
Or was he teasing her on purpose after overhearing her conversation?
She shook her head. It didn’t matter.
She hadn’t forgotten their relationship. On the surface, they looked like a couple, but in reality, their marriage was just a contract. Neither of them could cross the line.

That morning, Sophia played with Anthony while Robert went to work.
During lunch, she looked at Robert, and her ears turned red.
But she pretended to be calm and said, "Master Miller, I have something to do this afternoon. Please spend more time with Anthony after work."
Robert replied, "Okay."
Anthony grabbed Sophia’s hand in a hurry and shook his head at her.
"Good boy, Anthony," Sophia comforted him. "I’ll come back and have dinner with you tonight."
