Robert held Sophia tight as she spoke in a hoarse voice.
He had never comforted anyone before, so he didn’t really know how to help her feel better. All he could do was hold her silently.
"Why are you still up so late?" Sophia’s voice was soft. "Why did you come here?"
"You didn’t go home," Robert answered with meaning in his voice. "So I came to find you."
"Why do you always manage to find me?" Sophia asked, feeling sad as she remembered his disappearance last time. "But I can never find you."
Robert didn’t answer her first question. Instead, he replied to the second one. "Because you never really try to find me."
Sophia was surprised. Slowly, she lifted her head from Robert’s chest and looked at him.
Right then, she got caught in his deep, dark eyes full of hidden feelings.
She didn’t know if her emotions were just too strong today, or if Robert had really captured her heart.
His eyes made her heart beat fast and her face turn red.
