Putting the dragon bone armor inside his inventory, Lioro went to the backyard.
"Master, you're back, Gosu!"
Hamsuke shouted after seeing Lioro coming towards him.
"I heard you scared away some troublemakers. Good job.", Lioor said while patting Hamsuke's head.
He couldn't help but wonder how Hestia would react if she were to see Hamsuke.
A giant fluffy wild hamster.
He could almost imagine her jumping up in surprise.
She will be shocked for sure, it will be fun to see her reaction.
"Hmuhmu, it was nothing gosu!"
With a proud look on his face, Hamsuke raised his head.
Lioro smiled, then looked at the open wooden shed behind Hamsuke.
While he was gone, his sisters seemed to have built a pretty decent place for Hamsuke to sleep.
'If I want to take them away to danmachi then I will need someone else to take care of the burger business.'
Overlord was too dangerous for them, and considering the things he was planning to do, as his family, it would only get more difficult for them.
'There is a lack of people...'
There were several things he wanted to execute, but the lack of trusted people held him back.
Suddenly, the image of a middle-aged couple passed his mind.
'Why don't I have them come over?'
His uncle Edric and his wife.
By bringing them over, he can not only improve their lives but also have someone take over the business side of Overlord in place of his sisters.
It was decided then.
"Hamsuke, take care of the house. I will come back in some time."
"Yes, master! Leave it to me!"
After giving Hamsuke a nod, Lioro teleported away.
----
Inside a small village.
The space trembled before the figure of Lioro appeared in front of a wooden house.
Looking at the familiar place, Lioro took a step forward and knocked on the wooden door.
"Who is it?"
From the inside, a familiar rough voice rang out.
"Uncle, it's me, Lioro."
"Lioro?!"
Hearing the hurried footsteps, Lioro silently took a step back and in the next moment the wooden door opened up with a loud noice, revealing the figure of a middle-aged brown haired man.
It was his Uncle Edric.
"...Lioro?..."
Edric asked in confusion, seeing Lioro's completely changed appearance.
It was understandable, since Lioro was currently in his transformed state, with white hair and blue eyes, along with the rich-looking pair of clothes he was wearing, he completely looked like a typical aristocrat from some powerful family.
Looking at Edric's hesitant expression, Lioro smiled then canceled his transformation, returning back to his original appearance.
Seeing the change, Edric's eyes lit up.
"Uncle Edric, I recently became a magic caster and awakened, which led to the change in my appearence."
Listening to Lioro's words.
"Magic caster?....awakening?....."
Edric was taken aback.
"Honey? Is something wrong?"
"Ah, it's nothing..."
After telling his wife, Edric turned back to Lioro and said.
"How about you come in first? Let's talk inside Lioro."
"Ok."
Under Edric's lead, Lioro entered the wooden house.
After closing the door, Edric took Lioro to the room on the back side.
There he saw his aunty Mirella.
"Lioro?"
Aunt Mirella called out in a surprised voice as soon as she saw him.
"Hello, aunt."
Lioro gave a polite bow.
"You kid..."
Getting up from the ground, she walked up to him, gave him a tight hug, then looked curiously at his new appearance.
"Lioro, what happened?...."
She couldn't help but ask in a surprised voice.
Instead of replying, Lioro raised his finger and lit up a small flame.
"What?!?"
The small trick completely shook his uncle and aunty, making them look at him with unbelievable eyes.
"Uncle and Aunty, there are a lot of things I want to discuss with you, so let's take a seat and talk in detail, yes?"
Under his lead, the two of them absentmindedly sat down with him.
Then, Lioro started telling the somewhat fake and somewhat real story.
"I awakened right after me and my sister's arrived at E-rantel."
Edric and Mirella listened in curiosity.
"My awakening allowed me to use magic. By using the power, I became an adventurer and saved money to buy a place in E-rantel."
"You bought a house?!"
"In E-rantel?!"
They both shouted in surprise.
Lioro smiled and said.
"It is a house as well as a shop."
"A shop?"
"Yes, my sisters sell burgers there. It's a new dish we created and is becoming more and more popular in the border City."
"You guys...."
"Uncle and Aunty, actually our burger business if doing pretty well. the reason I came here was to ask the two of you to come back with me to E-rantel."
"We?...."
"Yes, the sales are increasing every day, and it is getting harder to meet the demand. plus I plan to open new shops in different districts, maybe even in another city...."
Edric and Mirella looked at each other, feeling speechless.
How long has it been since the three kids went away?
Less than two weeks?
Just how the hell did so many things happen in so little time?
Looking at Lioro's expensive clothes, Aunt Mirella couldn't help but ask.
"Lioro, just how much are you earning?"
"Not much, just 5-6 gold coins a day."
That was a profit, not the revenue.
"6-6 gold coins a day...."
Uncle Edric said in a shocked voice.
"So what do you think, uncle? Aunty? I believe with your help we can increase the profit even more."
A hesitant look appeared on Uncle Edric's face.
Looking at Lioro's calm face, he opened his mouth and said.
"That.....Lioro..we are but simple farmers....."
Uncle Edric scratched his head in embarrassment.
His meaning was clear: they were farmers who had worked in the fields their entire lives and didn't know anything about selling food in a shop.
Aunt Mirella looked at her husband. She wanted to say something but held herself back, letting Edric decide.
"I don't think we are suitable for such work--"
"That's not true at all, uncle."
Lioro shook his head and continued.
"Me and my sisters were also simple farmers, and yet we were able to adapt to the new life, and I believe both of you will too be able to adapt just like us."
"This....."
Edric's eyes shone; he felt that what Lioro said made a lot of sense.
If the three children could do it, then why can't they?
Of course, that wasn't the only reason.
'The field... won't give much yield this year.....'
Uncle Edric lowered his head and thought.
He has worked in the field for years and could tell that, due to the change in weather conditions, they would face a terrible yield.
After all, farming was tough and unpredictable work with many risks and not much profit unless you were someone with a large area of farmable land.
Feeling the touch from his side, Edric turned his head and saw his wife Mirella looking at him with hopeful eyes.
After giving her a look, Edric made up his mind and turned to Lioro.
"Lioro, I don't know how much help we can provide, but...we would like to give it a try."
"That's the spirit, uncle."
Lioro smiled and gave him a thumbs up.
Edric also smiled after seeing his gesture, then leaned forward and pulled Lioro in a hug.
"You brat, when did you get so strong?"
Edric asked, feeling the strength contained inside Lioro's muscles while hugging him.
"It was because of my awakening."
Lioro lied with a straight face.
"Awakening...."
Edric gave Lioro a weird look then started riffing up his hair.
"Uncke stop!"
Lioro said as he quickly escaped the old man's hands.
"Tsk, you have gotten faster as well."
Edric said with a smile.
Aunt Mirella smiled while looking at the scene.
"Lioro, what would you like to eat? Your Aunt will make dinner for you today."
"Yes, Lioro, you must taste the deer I caught yesterday!"
Uncle Edric said with a big smile on his face.
Looking at the two of them, Looro blinked then said.
"Actually, uncle, aunty, we can leave right now."
"Leave? Right now?"
Edric and Mirella were taken aback.
"Yes, I can use teleportation magic after all."
Lioro said, then suddenly vanished from the spot, startling the two. then, before they could react, Lioro appeared before them and patted their backs, scaring them completely.
"Y-y-y-you..."
Uncle Edric stuttered while pointing at Lioro with a shaking finger.
"It's magic, uncle!"
Lioro smiled and lit up a fire abive his hand.
Edric gulped down a mouthful of saliva and then calmed down his racing heart.
It seems this kid has changed greatly after awakening!
But his bad habits were still the same!
Just why did he have to scare them like that?!
"You brat, you're doing it deliberately, aren't you?"
Uncle Edric complained in an unsatisfied voice.
Lioro turned his head away and avoided his gaze.
"Magic... is incredible..."
Aunt Mirella said while patting her chest.
"Uncle and Aunt, quickly pack your clothes, we'll leave right away."
"Leave now? So soon?"
"Yes."
"But then the crops?"
"Don't worry about it, I'll give you the equivalent amount; its just some gold coins anyway."
'Just some gold coins?'
Edric and Mirella looked at each other.
It seems their nephew was really taking off.
"Alright, please pack your luggage, uncle and aunty. I will come back after checking out some things."
Waving his hand, Lioro walked to the door and exited the place, leaving the stunned couple behind.
Looking at his retreating back, they thought at the same time.
Wasn't their nephew a bit too fast?
After exiting the place, Lioro walked up to the wooden house right across, which belonged to him and his sisters.
He felt a presence inside his house.
Calmly walking up to the wooden door, Lioro raised his leg and smashed it open.
The sudden loud voice startled the person hiding inside, making them stumble and drop to the ground.
Inside the dark environment, Lioro lit up a small flame and looked at the uninvited guest.
At first, he thought it might be some simple thief or something.
So he was thinking of scaring them away after teaching them a small lesson.
But as soon as Lioro's gaze landed on the person.
He froze in place.
It was a familiar person, a woman he knew.
"Please...."
She sat, hidden in a corner, with her eyes sunken and her lips parched, looking worse than a beggar.
"Food....."
She was the baker's wife.
The one he saved from the aristocrat.
Or at least he thought he had saved.
After all, the word 'saved' couldn't possibly be associated with someone in her condition.
----
With unfocused eyes, the baker's wife slowly extended her hand toward Lioro.
"....food....please..."
Perhaps because of the lack of strength, she couldn't even muster up the strength to fully extend her hand.
Raising his hand towards her, Lioro cast a healing spell.
"Major Recover."
He cast a 5th tier spell at her.
Instantly, a soothing green light extended from his palm and enveloped her figure.
Then, within seconds, her sunken eyes recovered, her dull skin brightened up, and the emaciated body that was the result of days of hunger quickly healed back to its original plumpness.
The woman's body trembled as she felt the changes happening to her body; her blurry vision became clear again.
And the first thing she saw through her clear eyes was the face of a familiar boy with his striking white hair and blue eyes.
Opening her mouth, she instinctively called out.
"Master wizard?..."
Instead of replying, Lioro took out a burger from his storage and handed it to her.
"Eat it."
Smelling the mouthwatering fragrance coming from the food in her hand, the woman hurriedly bit down like a starved wolf, voraciously eating the burger in big bites.
In no time, she finished eating the whole thing.
But it wasn't enough.
She still carved more.
And as if hearing her inner voice, Lioro took out several more burgers from his storage and placed them in front of her.
"Eat as many as you want."
Lioro said as he took a few steps back, giving her some personal space.
The baker's wife looked dumbly at the food placed in front of her. stretching her hand, she grabbed a burger and bit down on it with a large bite.
Tears started flowing out of her eyes as the warm feeling filled her stomach.
Then, she started eating to her heart's content.
Lioro silently stood on the side, calmly looking at the scene.
It was the first time he saw someone eating like a hungry ghost.
The scene reminded him of a famous saying from his original world.
The biggest pain in the world is hunger.
On an empty stomach, you can't feel pain, anger, depression, sadness, or anything else.
All the emotions that might have plagued you will be gone, replaced by the one true pain of the world.
Hunger.
After some time, the baker's wife finished eating the last burger. With a full stomach, she turned towards Lioro then said in a grateful voice.
"Thank you....master wizard....thank you....."
Lioro nodded, then asked in a calm voice.
"What happened to you?"
The woman fell silent, then after a few seconds she opened her mouth with difficulty and said in a self depreciating voice.
"My husband...he threw me out... saying I was tainted by the noble....."
