Chapter 7

Calvin stood up from the sofa and swiftly walked in front of me. "Are you really that reluctant to let him go?"

"Davina, do you find it amusing to bring a man in front of me and put on an act just to make me jealous?"

He took steps towards me, constantly closing the distance.

Even when my entire body was pressed against the wall with nowhere to retreat, he didn't ease the oppressive aura emanating from him.

Calvin extended his arms, trapping me in the narrow space before his chest.

He lowered his head, his gaze dark as he looked at me. "Davina, I'm giving you one last chance. If you apologize to me now, the position of my fiancée is still yours."

I met his eyes with an icy stare. "Calvin, was I not clear enough?"

"We've already broken up, and I don't want to see you again."

"This is the last time I'm coming to this house, and it's only to pick up the luggage I've packed."

"My fiancé is waiting for me outside right now, so don't waste my time."
