From this man's account, I learned that Isadora had never actually been sick or in poor health. It was all fabricated and lied about by Isadora herself.

With this revelation, Alec's lingering affection for her completely vanished. He coldly cut off all ties with her and withdrew the funds he had invested in her.

How could Isadora, accustomed to Alec's favoritism, accept his sudden indifference?

So Isadora completely lost it. She ran to confront the foreign man, blaming him for her loss of everything due to his appearance.
