[This is a miracle born from "longing."]
If a single person alone cannot fully describe the one they long for,
Then let more voices fill in the missing details.
The him who was obedient in her eyes.
The him who was deceitful in her eyes.
They were both parts of him.
And with these scattered memories pieced together,
A miracle that should never have existed was born.
The "man" whom the world had erased,
Returned as a fae.
"…"
"…"
Hearing that voice engraved deep within their souls,
Both Artoria and Morgan turned around at the same time—
And then,
They froze in place.
Because the one standing before them—
Was him.
That familiar presence,
Once lost in memory, now restored.
They remembered.
They remembered everything.
The one called "Rei."
A selfish, corrupted, despicable, shameless sacrificial pawn.
"Rei!"
The moment she realized the truth,
Artoria threw herself into his arms.
"I missed you so much… Where have you been all this time?"
"…"
Looking at the girl in his arms,
Crying so sorrowfully,
Rei could only gently stroke her back
And speak to her with soft reassurance.
"See? I'm right here now."
"Artoria, don't cry."
"If you keep crying—"
"I won't be able to see your smile anymore."
Compared to Artoria's open, unreserved display of affection,
Morgan was more composed.
Though the sight of him filled her heart with immeasurable joy,
Her actions remained collected.
She gazed at Rei,
Her voice carrying a distinct chill.
"Though I admit I have missed him…"
"I refuse to lose myself in an illusion."
"I know he would never want me to become like that."
"So—"
"If you are merely a mirage created by the lake…"
"Then disappear at once."
After taking the throne,
Morgan had reevaluated herself.
What she truly wanted—
And what she didn't want.
She had spent long nights pondering it.
So even now, when her longing ached to the point of sickness,
She remained clear-headed.
But—
This was not an illusion.
Rei looked at Morgan's expressionless face,
And smiled.
Then, he spoke—
"Your Highness."
"Then, may I once again answer your question—"
'Who is more beautiful, you or the flowers?'
"If I can answer that—"
"Would you believe that I am not an illusion?"
"…"
Hearing those words,
Morgan's deep blue eyes trembled as if struck by an earthquake.
That question—
The one that had persisted throughout her life—
Was not something an illusion from the lake could ever answer.
"Rei… It's you."
"How dare you leave me without a word?!
Did I ever give you that right?!"
Her words sounded imperious—
Yet, her actions were filled with urgency.
She stepped forward—
And kissed him.
Within the firefly-lit miracle,
The three were reunited—
Their souls intertwining once more.
A long while passed.
When the overwhelming emotion finally began to fade,
Morgan released his lips,
And Artoria lifted her tear-streaked face from his chest.
"Rei… Where did you go?"
Her voice was filled with deep longing.
"Why… why couldn't I remember your name?"
Rei shrugged slightly.
"Artoria, I can't answer that question."
"You can't?"
"No."
Rei nodded.
"Because even I don't remember where I went."
"All I know is—"
"I had to kill some bastard."
"But now, it seems he's hidden in a place I can't reach."
"Even his name is concealed."
"But I won't let him get away."
"If he has the guts—"
"He can stay in hiding for the rest of his life."
"This—"
Artoria's emerald eyes filled with confusion.
"Rei, why do you feel so strongly about this?"
"…"
Rei was silent for a moment,
Then smiled.
"No reason."
"I just suddenly felt like doing it."
That was, of course, a lie.
If he revealed the truth to Artoria,
If he made her bear that burden,
Then how would he be any different from Uther and Merlin?
Her life—
Should never again be bound by chains.
"Then—"
Morgan spoke next.
Her gaze was deep and piercing.
"Rei—
What exactly are you now?"
"As for that…"
Rei turned his eyes toward the calm surface of the lake.
"It seems that—"
'Your memories' allowed these fae to find a way to 'piece me back together.'"
"I can feel it."
"This is a process of gradual restoration."
"The fae of the lake…?"
Morgan whispered those words under her breath.
"Then—"
"Rei, I might have a way to fully restore you to being 'human.'"
"It will take some time, but—"
"No."
Rei shook his head.
"Your Highness—"
"There's no need for that."
"This situation is already a miracle in itself."
"Forcing a change with external power…
Would only invite greater disaster."
"I don't want that."
Morgan stared at him.
Her eyes sharp, her tone commanding.
"Rei—"
"Are you defying my orders?"
"Your Highness."
"You know that's not what I mean."
"But there are some things that even a king's decree cannot change."
"But I am a king now!"
Morgan gripped his hand tightly,
Her voice almost hysterical.
"A king's command—"
Even you would disobey it?!"
"…"
Rei didn't answer.
Instead,
Artoria spoke.
"Enough, Morgan."
"A king does not exist to force others into submission."
"You should understand that better than anyone."
"…"
Hearing those words,
Morgan turned her head away,
Her expression sullen.
"Artoria—"
"Even if you don't say it, I already know that."
"But you want him back as much as I do, don't you?"
"Then, tell me—"
"How is your hypocrisy any different from mine?"
Artoria's emerald eyes glistened with unspoken sorrow.
She gazed deeply at Rei, her voice gentle—
"I do want him back."
"But if this is the path he has chosen—"
"Then I will accept it."
"Because love—"
"Is not a chain to bind another."
"Isn't that right?"
Morgan was speechless.
She knew that she had lost.
But she refused to accept such a defeat.
"Artoria, thank you."
Rei responded to the young woman.
"To be understood by you like this… I'm truly fortunate."
"I—"
Her voice cut off abruptly.
Miracles are not something that can last forever.
A disappearance like this was only natural.
They both felt it.
They just didn't want to say it aloud.
But at the very least—
The traces of him had returned to this world in another form.
Even if only two people had witnessed this moment,
It was still a priceless treasure.
"Morgan."
Artoria gazed at the now-empty forest,
Tears falling silently from her eyes.
"Do you still remember him?"
"I have never forgotten."
Morgan's voice trembled with emotion.
"He was the only one who ever dared to defy me like that."
"Then—"
Artoria wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes.
"Come here often."
"Perhaps one day… we'll see him again."
"I was going to do that anyway."
Morgan held back her sorrow.
"There's no way I'd ever hand him over to you."
"Never… ever."
[You are no longer forgotten by this world.]
[This was one of the rare and fleeting miracles.]
Artoria moved into the forest with Mordred.
She never stopped telling the daughter she adopted from Morgan stories about Rei.
She spoke as if he were still by her side.
This piqued Mordred's curiosity.
"Mother, that person called Rei…"
"What exactly is he to you?"
"You're always telling stories about him."
The child's curious gaze made Artoria fall into deep thought.
"If you ask me what he was to me…"
"Then—"
"I suppose he was my hero."
"Your hero?!"
Mordred's blue eyes, so identical to Morgan's, blinked in surprise.
"Did he do something really amazing?"
"Yes."
Artoria nodded.
"He saved me."
"Whoa—!"
Mordred, her silver hair shining in the light, clenched her small fists.
"Then I definitely have to meet him someday!"
"Yes…
I think so too."
Artoria gazed at Mordred,
Her eyes filled with gentle warmth.
[Following her heart, Artoria returned the Holy Sword, Excalibur, and Avalon to the Lady of the Lake.]
[As for the Sword of Revolving Victory, Excalibur Galatine, which she had given to Gawain—]
[She could only express, in a roundabout way, that it could not be returned just yet.]
[However, the Lady of the Lake did not seem to mind.]
This slightly surprised Artoria.
But she did not dwell on it for long—
Because there was something far more important to do.
[She began to guide Mordred as a mother.]
This was something she had never experienced before.
[Yet, it brought her an indescribable joy.]
[She was finally beginning to understand—]
[What it meant to be "human."]
[Morgan watched all of this during her visits to the forest.]
But—
A miracle did not happen again.
Even until the very end of her life—
Artoria never saw Rei again.
[She died on the grassy field—]
[The one where she had once explored the secret garden with him.]
[A half-eaten apple still in her hand.]
[And the one who buried her—was Morgan.]
"My Queen, what name should we engrave on her tombstone?"
Bedivere hesitated.
From the bottom of his heart,
He acknowledged the greatness of the former king, Artoria.
At the same time,
He knew well that the new queen, Morgan,
Did not particularly like her.
But this time—
He realized he may have been mistaken.
Because without hesitation, Morgan gave her command:
"Artoria Pendragon."
"Britain's great King Arthur."
"Engrave those words."
"And lay her to rest in the royal mausoleum."
[Morgan took Mordred back to her side.]
[As she watched the child grow into a fine young woman—]
[Her feelings were complicated.]
Because every time she looked at Mordred,
Morgan would inevitably think of him.
But—
She never resented Mordred for it.
[She cared for her.]
[She cared for her as a mother should.]
She had Gawain teach her swordsmanship.
And she watched over them.
The flowers in the garden remained as vibrant as ever.
The sun above Camelot had never changed.
Watching Mordred get knocked to the ground by Gawain over and over,
Only to get back up, pouting, and shout,
"Just you wait, you damn gorilla!"
Morgan's thoughts drifted.
She remembered that afternoon—
When little Gawain had run to her, crying,
Complaining that his father had been too distracted
Watching someone else while sparring with him.
She realized—
The happiest times had already been with her all along.
Why did she only notice now?
[Under Morgan's tutelage, Mordred inherited the legacy of their swordsmanship.]
[The proud queen gave her youngest daughter a seat at the Round Table.]
[The final seat.]
"Mother."
Mordred stood before the Round Table,
A puzzled look on her face.
"Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?"
"Why is there always an empty seat next to you at the Round Table?"
"…"
Morgan was silent for a long moment—
Then smiled bitterly.
"Because there was once a hero who should have sat there."
"But I made him stand… for a very, very long time."
"A hero again?"
Mordred tilted her head.
"Where is he now?"
"I don't know."
"Huh?"
Mordred frowned.
"That sounds really familiar—"
"But also kinda different?"
"Does it?"
Morgan embraced her daughter.
"Then never forget it."
"…I won't."
[Morgan was an exceptional ruler.]
[Under her leadership, Camelot's army unified Britain—]
[Their war horns echoing even in Rome, striking fear into Emperor Lucius.]
But in the end—
None of that mattered to her.
[She still longed for that miracle born from the Lake of the Fae.]
If he had become a "fae"—
Then all she had to do was search for every fae in existence.
Surely—
She would find him again.
And so—
She searched.
Day after day.
Then—
One day, she disappeared.
[Britain fell into decline.]
But—
[One day—]
[They will find you again.]
[—Simulation complete—]
[Your results have been recorded in Pan-Human History.]
[Some of your abilities have been incorporated into your being.]
[Thank you for your contribution.]
Rei (Saber)
[Name]: Rei
[Class]: Saber
[Alignment]: Lawful Evil
Stats
Rank Strength A
Endurance A
Agility B
Mana C
Luck E
Noble Phantasm B
[Class Skills] Magic Resistance: A
Due to the protections of Age of Gods Magecraft, Gif of the Red Dragon's Blood, and the blessings of the Lake, Rei possesses an extremely high resistance to magic, nullifying many forms of magecraft.
At times, this protection even reaches the level of complete immunity to magical attacks.
However, since this ability does not originate from himself, the moment he loses these blessings, his Magic Resistance will severely drop.
In such a case, his ability to resist magic is nearly nonexistent, making him vulnerable even to low-level spells.
Riding: B
As a former First Knight of the Round Table, Rei has excellent proficiency in handling various mounts.
There is also potential for riding even higher-class mounts, but additional requirements must be met.
While mounted, his combat capabilities receive a slight boost.
[Personal Skills] Charisma: C
A fabricated kingly aura that allows him to lead troops, mimicking the presence of King Arthur.
However, this is merely a borrowed presence, leveraging Artoria's name rather than his own true leadership.
That being said, even as an individual, he can lead hundreds of soldiers into battle with overwhelming morale.
Knighthood Essence: D → Blade of the Dishonorable: A
When charging into battle as Morgan's knight, Rei gains a moderate boost to his abilities.
However, he often forgets his own safety, recklessly throwing himself into danger.
When fighting alone, if he focuses properly, he can exhibit skills akin to an Assassin-class Servant.
But due to his past of killing a fellow knight, this skill gradually deteriorates over time—eventually causing him to attack friend and foe alike.
[Noble Phantasms] Morgan's Blade (王女之刃 – Morgan's Sword) Rank: C Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A weapon granted by Morgan, originally meant for assassinating Vortigern, materialized as a Noble Phantasm.
At a glance, it appears to be a simple longsword, albeit one that secretly carries Morgan's name.
While it is more durable than ordinary weapons, it does not possess any overwhelming power.
If used against Vortigern, the enemy may mistakenly perceive Rei as Morgan herself.
Upon True Name Release:
Temporarily boosts all physical parameters by one rank. Alternatively, greatly amplifies a single attribute. After use, Morgan's Blade shatters and disappears.
In the Princess's Name, the False King (以王女之手,赐伪王之名 – The False King Lot) Rank: B Type: Barrier Noble Phantasm Target: 1 Person
A Noble Phantasm that activates immediately upon Rei's summoning.
It distorts visual perception, making everyone except his Master believe that Rei is King Lot.
However, this deception does not trigger any anti-king effects from Noble Phantasms, as Rei is still classified as a Knight.
This illusion cannot be seen through by any means—
Unless Rei himself chooses to reveal the truth.
In the absence of a true "King," he can even imitate King Arthur, but the moment he faces the real King Arthur, the illusion will be immediately dispelled.
Upon True Name Release:
Rei temporarily becomes a "genuine king." He receives the full blessings of Morgan and Lady of the Lake. This grants him access to powerful Noble Phantasms he does not normally possess or carry into battle. Most commonly, this allows him to wield the Sword of Revolving Victory, Excalibur Galatine.
False Endless Slaughter (虚伪的无尽杀戮 – Repeated Rumor Becomes a Fact) Rank: A Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A weapon born from countless grudges and regrets, forged solely to sever Artoria's chains of fate.
Upon activation:
Rei destroys his own body, entering a near Berserker-like state. Gains near-absolute immunity to magecraft. He can endlessly replicate copies of himself, each wielding degraded versions of various Noble Phantasms. This ceaseless slaughter continues indefinitely—
Until either Rei or his Master's mana is completely drained.
Due to its inherent risk, careful consideration must be taken before activating this ability.
Otherwise, Rei may be consumed by the very effect he unleashed.
Important Notice:
Against a certain Magus-class Servant, this Noble Phantasm cannot kill them. However, it can subject them to unrelenting torment.
Upon True Name Release:
The projected copies will only wield three Noble Phantasms: Excalibur (Sword of Promised Victory) Excalibur Galatine (Sword of Revolving Victory) Arondight (The Unfading Light of the Lake) If the Master has ample mana, these degraded Noble Phantasms can reach 70% of their original power. If mana is scarce, they will only operate at 50% efficiency.
[Name]: Rei
[Class]: Caster
[Alignment]: Lawful Good
Stats Rank
Strength E
Endurance E
Agility E
Mana B
Luck A+
Noble Phantasm B
[Class Skills] Territory Creation: C
As a mage, Rei has the ability to create a territory advantageous to himself.
However—
Since his existence as a "human" has been rejected by the world,
his "territory" is merely a space to preserve his existence.
That being said—
The territory itself is incredibly fragile.
Even maintaining his form is already a miracle.
Item Construction: E
Since even maintaining his own existence is difficult,
creating magical artifacts is even harder.
However, due to his past deeds, Rei himself has become a "tool."
If his Master is strong enough, there is a high chance that either
Artoria or Morgan may join the battle alongside him.
However—
Neither Artoria nor Morgan will obey the Master's commands.
[Personal Skills] A Man of Memories: A
A being stitched together from the memories of others.
Since he was reconstructed from the descriptions of Artoria and Morgan, he is the idealized version of himself.
Grants bonus damage against Evil-aligned Servants. However, this ability is highly unreliable. More often, it serves as a reminder to his past self—To correct his regrets and mistakes.
[Noble Phantasms] Eye of the Glam (妖精之眼 – Eye of The Glam) Rank: B Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A miracle granted by the Fae, allowing Rei to return to the world.
Upon activation:
Grants the ability to perceive an enemy's Noble Phantasms. This only works if Rei has direct line of sight. It does not bypass concealment effects.
Against Artoria and Morgan:
Grants the ability to read their current emotions. If used strategically, even an enemy Morgan may turn against her Master.
Upon True Name Release:
All limitations are ignored. Instantly learns the true name and Noble Phantasms of one Servant. However, Rei will fall into a prolonged state of weakness.
A Thousand Feelings, All Hidden in Flowers (万般心意,皆藏花中 – The Theme is Flowers) Rank: B Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A specialized anti-Morgan Noble Phantasm that manifests as a direct gaze into her heart.
Effects:
Forces any version of Morgan to form an unbreakable alliance with Rei.
To nullify this effect, multiple Command Seals must be used. Even then, the effect will only be suppressed for less than an hour. If the connection is sustained for too long, it may reach a point where even Command Seals can no longer stop Morgan from rushing to his side.
Limitations:
This Noble Phantasm only works on Morgan. Since Rei's "humanity" was erased, it cannot undergo True Name Release.
Silence is Regret (戛然而止的话语 – Silence is Regret)
Rank: C
Type: Barrier Noble Phantasm
Effective Target: 1 Person
A Noble Phantasm born from unspoken words—the lingering regrets of a miracle that vanished too soon.
Effects:
A manifestation of unfulfilled desires that could never be expressed in life. Provides a seemingly meaningless healing effect based on past emotions.
Additional Properties:
Formed beside the sacred lake, where the Scabbard of Excalibur (Avalon) once rested. Though conceptually similar to Avalon, it lacks the same legendary potency. However, it still provides notable healing and defensive capabilities.
True Name Release Effect:
In its True Name Released state, this Noble Phantasm's fervent wish can negate any single attack and fully heal all injuries.
However, once this effect is used, the Noble Phantasm itself will vanish entirely, and the user's body will be left fragile due to the immense energy drained by this final act of will.
Artoria Pendragon (Lancer)
Name: Artoria Pendragon
Class: Lancer
Alignment: Lawful・Good
Strength: B
Endurance: A
Agility: B
Mana: A Luck: E
Noble Phantasm: A
Class Skills: Magic Resistance
A Negates all spells below A-rank, making even the most renowned magi incapable of inflicting harm. If her Master is not Rei, she can even resist Command Spells to a certain extent. Due to her Dragon core, this resistance is slightly reduced against anti-dragon Magecraft and Noble Phantasms.
Riding: B
Can skillfully ride most mounts, except for Phantasmal Beasts and Divine Beasts. However, she prefers to ride the white horse gifted to her by Rei, rather than any legendary steed. Surprisingly, in battle, this horse performs just as well as any mythical warhorse.
Personal Skills: Happiness Named Humanity A
Represents Artoria's wish to live as a human after completing her duties as a king. It is the simplest yet most cherished possibility she could ever attain. While it does not enhance her combat abilities, it makes her prioritize protecting those around her and grants her exceptional domestic skills. Even Mordred, a mischievous child, admires her talents.
Mana Burst: A → Dragon Core: B
Temporarily enhances her weapons and body using magical energy, allowing her slender frame to overpower much stronger foes. Due to her Dragon Core, she generates Mana just by breathing. When protecting Mordred, her abilities can rise beyond their normal limits.
Noble Phantasms Blade of Mortals (凡人之剑 - The Blade of Mortals) Rank: E Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A mundane longsword Artoria wields after returning Excalibur and Avalon to the Lady of the Lake.
Appearance: An incredibly ordinary blade, even rusted in places. Because it looks so unremarkable, summoners often mistake her for a Saber-class Servant instead of a Lancer. However, this was the first weapon gifted to her by Rei, making it deeply significant to her as a person.
True Name Release:
Artoria recalls all her past experiences and wields the sword once more in the name of a King. In this state, it can temporarily exhibit a power comparable to a sealed Excalibur.
Dunstallion (东斯塔利恩 - East Stallion) Rank: A+ Type: Anti-Army Noble Phantasm
Artoria's beloved white horse, the one she shared her days with alongside Mordred.
It was the last living being to accompany her before her death. Having fought in hundreds of battles, it has attained legendary status, often considered a symbol of victory in war. However, for Artoria, Dunstallion is not a warhorse but a witness to her bond with Rei.
True Name Release:
Grants its rider extreme speed, allowing them to cross multiple cities in a single day. While riding, Artoria gradually manifests her "King" aspect.
Special Condition:
If Rei is her Master and rides with her, Dunstallion will refuse to use its speed abilities. It seems to be waiting for something.
Rhongomyniad (闪耀于终焉之枪 - The Spear That Shines at the World's End) Rank: A++ (EX) Type: Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm
Artoria's Holy Lance.
A storm-anchor that binds the stars—its true form is a tower that connects the inner and outer layers of the world. Not originally a spear, but given the form of a spear so Artoria could wield it. A conceptual weapon capable of rewriting the laws of the world.
True Name Release:
Unleashes a portion of the light that shines at the world's end, capable of slaying even an ancient white dragon in a single strike.
Personal Feelings:
Artoria does not enjoy using Rhongomyniad. In some parallel worlds, she has sealed it away through self-imposed restraints. However, if her Master is Rei, her aversion to the spear greatly decreases. For him, she would gladly wield it in battle.
Morgan le Fay (Caster)
Name: Morgan le Fay
Class: Caster
Alignment: Lawful・Evil
Strength: C
Endurance: C
Agility: B
Mana: A
Luck: E
Noble Phantasm: A
Class Skills Territory Creation: EX
Can construct highly advantageous magical domains. In reality, her ultimate goal was to seize control of Camelot. Having achieved this and brought prosperity to the land, her constructed domains hold immense legendary weight. However, rather than creating general strongholds, Morgan prefers to design prisons specifically to trap Rei.
Item Construction: A
Can easily create various powerful magical artifacts. If she wishes, she can even craft elixirs that extend lifespan. Can bestow "Morgan's Sword" upon others, but unless the target is Rei, the sword will not bear her name. Her favorite magical creations are potions that drive Rei into uncontrollable desire—allegedly, she has created numerous flavors.
Personal Skills Royal Pride: EX → Love of Her Life: EX
If Rei is not her Master, summoning Morgan is nearly impossible, even with a relic. If Rei is her Master, simply calling her name is enough to summon her. For any other Master, each command requires more Command Spells than the last; once depleted, she will refuse all further orders. For Rei, she will never leave his side, even without a Command Spell—though she will constantly demand Mana Replenishment. She is considered a Servant that is extremely difficult to utilize, as she was summoned at great effort only to be completely uncooperative.
Lord of the Isles: A
As the inheritor of all of Britain's mystical power, Morgan is unparalleled in ruling the land. While within Britain, her Mana is nearly infinite, allowing her to overwhelm multiple magi at once. However, her power weakens significantly when far from Britain.
Special Condition:
If Rei is her Master, she will store her excess Mana in his body, reversing the normal flow of Mana Replenishment.
Noble Phantasms Camelot (卡美洛 - Camelot) Rank: A Type: Barrier Noble Phantasm
Born from Morgan's ascension as Camelot's ruler, this Noble Phantasm recreates the peak of Camelot's glory.
True Name Release:
Summons entire legions of knights, each wielding weapons lacking Morgan's name. They will fight endlessly until the enemy is defeated.
Incomplete Knights of the Round Table
Grade: A
Type: Anti-Army weapon
The Knights of the Round Table Left Behind by Artoria
These are knights who still carry the same will as before.
Although some have departed, the remaining ones continue to uphold their loyalty, either due to the old king's influence or their lineage.
This is Morgan le Fay's most frequently used Noble Phantasm.
When the True Name Release is activated, the summoned Knights of the Round Table will be fixed to Gawain, Gaheris, Agravain, and Gareth.
If Camelot is deployed beforehand, they will also be granted replicas of Excalibur Galatine – Sword of Revolving Victory and other Noble Phantasms.
My Own Knight (The E-en) Rank: D Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A Noble Phantasm that activates synchronously when Morgan le Fay is summoned.
It functions by having Morgan le Fay actively seek out Rei (Saber) so that they may fight together.
If she successfully finds him, Morgan le Fay will fully devote herself to this Holy Grail War.
However, as a price, if the Master wishes to issue their own commands, they must consume all Command Seals, and even then, the probability of success remains extremely low.
If the search fails, Morgan le Fay will attempt to lose the Holy Grail War as quickly as possible so that she may be summoned by the correct person.
True Name Release can only be performed when Rei is the Master.
In this state, this Noble Phantasm will be destroyed, and Morgan le Fay's overall abilities will be greatly enhanced.
