That night, Senju Wakama was cornered by Tobirama.

Under a moonless sky, the courtyard was shrouded in darkness.

Senju Wakama was blocked at his doorstep by Tobirama.

Tobirama fired off questions without preamble: "Who was it? You must know who Hashirama and Tsukuyo met at the Naka River, right?"

"Huh?" Senju Wakama played dumb. "What are you talking about, Brother? What happened with Hashirama and Tsukuyo?"

Tobirama's blood-red eyes glowed like a beast's in the dark as he stared at Senju Wakama. "I told you to look after Tsukuyo. What were you really doing? Today, Hashirama came back alone. Not only was Tsukuyo missing, but you were also out wandering. You weren't even with them. Where did you go?"

Senju Wakama answered honestly, "I... went to play with a girl."

He quickly added, "Tsukuyo set it up. She knew about it."

In the quiet, Senju Wakama could clearly hear Tobirama's heartbeat quicken with anger.
