14 Years Later
The world had changed.
Nations no longer held power. Presidents, prime ministers, and kings—all had become relics of the past. The old world had been built on systems of order, economy, and negotiation. But when every human being had awakened a gift—an ability that could shape or destroy reality itself—those systems collapsed almost overnight.
Wars broke out. Governments tried to maintain control, but how could laws govern those who could incinerate armies with a thought? How could borders exist when individuals could level entire cities?
It took less than a year for the world's leaders to become irrelevant.
Instead, a new order emerged. Not ruled by politics, but by power and intellect.
The Rise of the Global Administration
When the dust settled, humanity found itself divided. Many saw the Gifted as the natural rulers of the new age—beings capable of shaping civilization as they saw fit. Others, however, feared and despised them, blaming them for the apocalypse that had shattered the world.
In time, the chaos gave way to a single, undeniable truth: Strength ruled all.
And so, the world abandoned its broken governments and established a single, supreme authority—the Global Administration.
Instead of presidents and prime ministers, only one person held absolute control:
The World Administrator.
This position was not won through elections. It was not granted by wealth or birthright. It could only be obtained in one of two ways:
1. By proving oneself as the most intelligent, strategic, and powerful of the Gifted. A rigorous selection process, designed to find the one individual whose mind and strength surpassed all others.
2. By surviving the Tournament.
The Tournament of Dominion
Every four years, those who sought the title of World Administrator could challenge the ruling leader in a brutal, unrestricted tournament.
The battlefield? A ruined city overrun by Outcasters.
The Outcasters were those who had refused to submit to the new world order. They were the remnants of old governments, extremists, rogue Gifted, and those who still clung to the shattered past. They had been driven into the Forbidden Zones—vast, lawless territories where no rules applied.
To win the tournament, a challenger had to do the impossible:
Survive the Outcaster-infested city and reach the other side.
They would not only battle the Outcasters but also fight each other, their competitors slaughtering one another until only one remained. That winner would then earn the right to challenge the reigning World Administrator in a final, decisive battle.
The First Administrator
The current ruler of the world was a man known only as Vael Iscariot.
He was not merely the strongest of the Gifted—he was something beyond human comprehension. His gift was an enigma, a force of nature so absolute that no one had ever seen him fight and lived to describe it.
When he took power, he made only one decree:
"The weak exist only at the mercy of the strong. Serve, survive, or perish."
Under his rule, society restructured itself around power. The strong built fortresses of wealth and security, while the weak clung to whatever protection they could find. Cities became walled havens for those who followed the new world order, while the outside world rotted in chaos.
The age of nations was over.
The age of dominion had begun.
