"Bulbasaur doesn't eat those things, Sakura. Last night when we had Ichiraku Ramen, it wouldn't eat that either."
Naruto frowned at the thought. Ichiraku Ramen is so delicious, yet Bulbasaur didn't want any. It must be a serious picky eater.
"Then what does Bulbasaur want to eat?"
Sakura didn't dwell on her disappointment and instead asked Naruto curiously.
Naruto shook his head. "I have no idea. I can't understand what Bulbasaur says."
"Didn't your Brother Ryo tell you what Bulbasaur eats?" Sakura asked, her eyes filled with curiosity.
"Huh?"
Naruto was stunned. "I never asked him."
Pfft!
The three others almost fell to the ground.
"You idiot, Naruto! Why don't you go ask Brother Ryo?"
Naruto suddenly realized. He nodded, picking up Bulbasaur from the ground. "Right! I'll go ask Brother Ryo what Bulbasaur eats. Kakashi-sensei, I'll head out now."
He turned to leave.
But before he could take a step, Kakashi spoke up. "Wait, Naruto. I'll go with you. I'm very curious about this summoning beast."
"Huh? Kakashi-sensei, you're coming too?"
Naruto blinked in confusion but quickly nodded. "Alright then."
He led the way, and Kakashi followed. There was no way Kakashi would miss such an opportunity.
"Sasuke, what about us?"
Sakura turned to Sasuke, waiting for his answer.
Without replying, Sasuke took a step forward and followed Naruto and Kakashi.
He was also curious about Bulbasaur. After witnessing its abilities during the earlier battle, he couldn't help but feel envious.
If he had a summoning beast like Bulbasaur, it would greatly help him in his pursuit of a certain man.
"Huh? Huh?"
Seeing Sasuke follow, Sakura hesitated for a moment, then decided to join as well.
Meanwhile, at Ryo's House
Ryo was preparing lunch for his Pokémon.
He walked to the back of the cabin, seemingly empty-handed, but a dozen Pokéblocks floated in the air around him.
Yes, they were floating all on their own.
This was the result of his training that morning. After a whole night of meditation, Ryo's psychic power had improved significantly.
At this rate, he estimated that with another week of training, he could hold his own against a Jonin-level opponent.
Although his psychic power had grown stronger, it still lacked offensive techniques.
So, he spent the morning training telekinesis.
As a modern young man who had read countless novels and watched anime, his first thought for an attack method was controlling flying swords.
Just imagine how cool and powerful it would be to fight with flying swords!
Now that he had the ability, there was no way he wouldn't develop it.
It wasn't difficult for someone with psychic power like him. Even while delivering food to his Pokémon, he continued practicing.
Soon, Ryo reached the clearing behind the cabin.
"Roooar~"
As soon as Ryo appeared, Dragonite quickly flew over.
Seeing the floating Pokéblocks beside Ryo, Dragonite's eyes lit up with curiosity.
Ryo noticed its expression and smiled. "Don't underestimate me, Dragonite. My psychic power is pretty strong."
"Roooar~"
Dragonite's face lit up with excitement.
Ryo shook his head and chuckled. "Go gather everyone. It's time for lunch."
Dragonite nodded and swiftly flew off.
Before long, the Pokémon began arriving one by one, each of them greeting Ryo in an adorable way.
"Alright, everyone, it's time to eat!"
Ryo patted Squirtle, who had run into his arms, and placed the Pokéblocks in front of the Pokémon.
They didn't waste any time and began eating happily. Even the clingy Squirtle sat down to eat.
"Roooar—"
Just then, Dragonite, who was munching on its Pokéblocks, suddenly lifted its head and stared toward the cabin.
"Dragonite, what's wrong?" Ryo asked curiously.
"Roooar~"
Dragonite pointed toward the cabin.
"Someone's coming?"
Understanding what Dragonite meant, Ryo stood up and walked toward the cabin.
Dragonite quickly finished its Pokéblocks and followed him.
The other Pokémon glanced at the scene but didn't react further, continuing to eat their food.
"Brother Ryo, I'm here!"
As soon as Ryo entered through the back door, he heard Naruto's familiar voice.
A moment later, Kakashi and the rest of the team walked into the cabin.
Once inside, they glanced around the room.
Even Naruto looked a bit confused. Didn't this place have nothing inside yesterday? Where did these two big machines come from?
"Ganeya!"
While Kakashi and the others were looking around, Bulbasaur spotted Ryo and immediately wriggled free from Naruto's arms, leaping toward him.
Their eyes shifted to Ryo, their curiosity growing.
Seeing Bulbasaur's reaction, they guessed that this must be the Brother Ryo Naruto had mentioned.
Kakashi narrowed his eyes and observed Ryo carefully. So, this is Ryo? He doesn't seem particularly special, and I can't sense any chakra from him.
Just as Kakashi was thinking this, he suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of danger.
Following his instinct, he turned to see a chubby creature staring at him with sharp eyes—Dragonite.
Kakashi's face turned pale.
The creature's gaze radiated power and danger, an aura that was far beyond anything ordinary. It was a force he couldn't hope to match.
Only beings with Kage-level strength could emit such a terrifying aura, and not just barely at Kage-level—this creature was at the very peak.
How is this possible? Could Naruto have been telling the truth? Can these strange summoning beasts really grow to Kage-level strength?
Ryo, unaware of Kakashi's thoughts, caught Bulbasaur and patted its head. "Hey there, Bulbasaur."
"Ganeya, ganeya~"
Bulbasaur nodded, its expression cheerful, almost as if greeting him.
"Brother Ryo, why is Bulbasaur so close to you but not to me?" Naruto asked, visibly confused.
"Uh—"
Ryo paused, then smiled. "Naruto, don't rush. You've only known Bulbasaur for a day. Give it some time, and your bond will grow stronger than mine."
Naruto nodded and quickly moved on. "By the way, Brother Ryo, I came to ask what Bulbasaur eats. It won't eat anything I give it!"
