Chapter 42: Kunai Strike, Buff Stacking

Charmander glanced at the two ninjas in front of it and then looked back at Sasuke with a hint of worry.

A large fireball, about two meters in size, shot toward the smoke cloud.

The approaching ninja paused in surprise, hesitating for a moment.

The fireball closed in on the black smoke, and Sasuke held his breath in anticipation.

"Water Style: Water Wall!"

A voice rang out from within the smoke, and a wall of water rose up, extinguishing the flames with a loud sizzle.

Sasuke's face darkened.

If things continued like this, it would be impossible to win.

The ninja locked in a stalemate with Sasuke immediately sensed danger. He retracted his attack and quickly distanced himself.

Before the ninja could retreat far, a voice called out, and two vines shot toward him with lightning speed.

Caught off guard, the ninja couldn't evade in time and was firmly bound by the vines.

He tried to break free, but the vines were incredibly strong. His expression turned fearful.

Sasuke's eyes lit up at the sight. He swiftly closed the distance and slashed with his kunai.

The next second, the ninja clutched his neck, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Cough… Impossible… Wood Release… How could a summoned creature…"

Before he could finish, his body collapsed to the ground with a heavy thud.

Sasuke let out a sigh of relief and turned to look at Naruto.

Fortunately, Naruto had snapped out of it in time. Otherwise, things might have gotten out of hand.
