Chapter 196: Unleashed Form

As Hoopa absorbed the torrent of energy into its body, a brilliant flash of light erupted around it—the glow of evolution.

Though the light obscured Hoopa's figure, its transformation was undeniable. Even through the radiance, everyone could see it—Hoopa was growing. Slowly, steadily, its body expanded, and with it, the aura it radiated became more and more intense.

Both Ryo and Dragonite instinctively took a step back, unwilling to get too close.

The light flickered and gradually began to fade.

At that moment, everyone held their breath, eyes locked on the hovering form at the center of the radiance.

ROAR—!

With a resonant roar, the final shimmer vanished. Floating in the air was no longer the cute and mischievous Hoopa they knew, but a towering figure that exuded power and menace.

This Hoopa was nearly unrecognizable.

If not for the lingering familiarity in its presence, no one would have believed it was the same Pokémon. Its now-massive body floated effortlessly in the air, surrounded by six muscular arms, each glowing faintly with energy.

Gone was the adorable charm—this was a being that looked like a demon king.

Its overwhelming aura spread outward in every direction.

Even the clouds that had only recently reformed were instantly torn apart, clearing the sky once again and letting sunlight pour down.

"So this is Hoopa's Unleashed Form? Incredible," Cynthia murmured, peeking out from behind her Garchomp, eyes wide with awe.

"Unleashed Form…? That aura is monstrous," Jiraiya muttered, as even Tsunade and the Akatsuki members around him were visibly shaken.

If earlier, the strength of Dragonite and Nagato had been intimidating, then this—this Hoopa—was utterly soul-crushing.

When facing Dragonite and Nagato, they had felt fear. Yes, those two were powerful, but deep down, they could still dream—imagine a future where they might one day reach such heights.

But Hoopa?

There was no dream here.

There was only despair.

No one in their right mind would believe they could ever hope to reach this level of strength.

Beep—

[Unleashed Hoopa]

Gender: Male

Classification: Mischief Pokémon

Type: Psychic/Ghost

Ability: Magician (Steals the item of a foe hit by one of its moves)

Level: 114 (Divine Tier)

Moves: Aura Fist, Giga Impact, Focus Blast, Gunk Shot, Zen Headbutt, Hyperspace Fury…

The Pokédex's voice echoed around the battlefield, and everyone's expressions shifted once more.

"D-Divine Tier? Level 114?"

"That's… that's insane… Dragonite's only Level 91!"

"Can Pokémon really get this strong…?"

Voices of disbelief filled the air.

The Pokédex's data had stunned them all.

Even Cynthia was caught off guard. "So that's it… Hoopa's already reached the power of a Tier One Deity…" she whispered, her voice tinged with awe.

"Tier One Deity?"

Tsunade and a few others turned to her, curious.

Cynthia nodded and took a moment to explain the classifications of legendary Pokémon.

As she spoke, their eyes grew wider and wider.

They had thought they'd overestimated Hoopa. In truth, they had vastly underestimated it.

Tsunade, in particular, was the most shaken.

She couldn't believe it.

The same Hoopa who used to hang around with her at the casino, always sneaking sweets and playing harmless pranks—now it had become a being strong enough to possibly rival the Sage of Six Paths himself.

No, even that might not be enough.

"Th-this is impossible… There's no way! Nothing should be that powerful! It has to be fake—it has to be!"

Far from the battlefield, hidden within the woods, Obito stood frozen, his masked face twisted in disbelief.

That suffocating aura coming from Hoopa had his mind in chaos.

Beside him, White Zetsu looked equally shaken. "It's real… That pressure—it's way beyond Madara's strength…"

White Zetsu had once witnessed Madara's full power. Even so, it had never felt anything like this.

Not even close.

If ten Madaras showed up, they'd still be crushed.

Black Zetsu didn't speak. But his body was trembling.

He could feel it more clearly than either of the others.

This wasn't just beyond Madara.

It was beyond the strength of Hagoromo and Hamura—the so-called brothers of legend.

In fact, it wasn't even far behind Kaguya's strength.

How could he not fear it?

If a being like this opposed their plan—then there would be no plan. There would be no chance at all.

"No… I can't give up. Rin is still waiting for me. I won't let this stop me…"

Obito's eyes burned with madness and bloodlust. His killing intent erupted, so powerful that even Black and White Zetsu stepped back uneasily.

"Obito, calm down! We can't go against something that powerful!"

White Zetsu was worried now, genuinely afraid Obito might lose himself.

But Obito's eyes were ice-cold. His chakra surged.

"I will never give up. I'll create a world where Rin exists—no matter what it takes."

With those words, space warped around him, and Obito vanished.

Black Zetsu blinked, stunned. "Did he… did he just break through to Super-Kage level?"

"Super-Kage? Obito broke through?"

White Zetsu asked, shocked.

Black Zetsu nodded, but didn't elaborate further. His gaze sharpened. "Enough. We're leaving."

"Leaving? What about Nagato?"

"We're past that point. The outcome is already decided."

With that, Black Zetsu turned.

White Zetsu hesitated, then sank into the ground and followed.

Soon, the forest returned to silence—as if no one had ever been there.

Back at the battlefield—

Nagato and Konan stared at Hoopa, stunned.

Their minds had shut down. Their bodies stood frozen.

The only thing that moved was the tremble in their limbs—deep-rooted, primal fear from the soul.

They no longer had the will to fight.

How could they?

No matter how they pushed themselves, they couldn't survive even a single blow from this monster.

Against Dragonite, there had still been hope—still a sliver of miracle to dream about.

But this?

With Hoopa like this—there was no miracle.

Even if time reset itself in the next second… they wouldn't stand a chance.
